Since our founding in 1904, Jersey Shore University Medical Center has built a solid reputation for delivering the most advanced programs and services in central New Jersey.
Located in the heart of one of the largest and fastest-growing counties in the state, Ocean Medical Center has become a vital part of the community since its opening in 1984.
Partners for Health traces its origins to the Mountainside Hospital Foundation, which was incorporated as the fundraising arm of the hospital in 1990.
With the sale of Mountainside Hospital from Atlantic Health to a for-profit owner, Merit Health System, the Foundation became an independent public charity known as the Mountainside Health Foundation in 2007.
Mountainside Health Foundation awarded its first grants in June 2008.
The Foundation’s name was changed to Partners for Health in 2010.
