As members of the Red Sox Foundation, Game Day Assistants will participate in various activities, including the sale of raffle tickets, which occurs from the time the gates open until approximately the end of the game. The hourly rate for this role is $15. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to arrive 2.5 hours in advance of scheduled home games to review daily game plans, as well as individual and team goals. Deliver excellent customer service and serve as an ambassador for the Foundation by raising awareness and educating fans about who we are, what we do, and how we do it. Promote and sell raffle tickets using a handheld device or tablet, either by roaming in a designated section of the ballpark or working a stationary kiosk, from the time the gates open (approximately 2 hours priors to first pitch) until approximately the end of the game. CHARACTERISTICS / QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age or older. Ability to work at least 60% of Red Sox home games. Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, as scheduled.
