The primary duties of the Substation Engineer include physical substation, protection, and control engineering for High Voltage Electric Utility projects, 12 kV through 500 kV. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be joining a highly capable, multi-discipline team that supports power and energy projects primarily within the utility, IPP, industrial, institutional, and municipal sectors. Primary duties typically involve leadership of the project mechanical team, coordination with other engineering disciplines, monitoring and communication of project status, and providing mechanical engineering support for detailed design and owner's engineer projects on both a technical and contractual level. Preferred candidates will have significant experience with industrial- and utility-scale power generation systems and equipment, and proven ability to plan, schedule, and lead design projects.
