    Western Veterinary Partners is seeking a regional locum DVM to serve hospitals north Texas. Based on our current locations, this role will primarily serve small animal GPs in the greater Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex (Arlington, Plano, McKinney). This is a full-time relief position that is perfect for doctors easily connect with diverse teams and would find fulfillment having adynamic caseload We're open to four-day or five-day scheduling (4-10s or 5-8s). There are NO weekend, emergency, or on-call services in this role. We're looking to hire a veterinarian who will easily adapt to each hospital's culture/needs and has hands-on experience working with small animals. To be considered for the role, you must be a licensed DVM (or have the ability to become licensed) in Texas. Veterinarians who have 2+ years of clinical experience are encouraged to apply. Get to know our DFW hospitals: This role will provide support to three small animal hospitals based in DFW. Two hospitals are in central/north Arlington (near ATT Stadium), and a third location is in Plano (Preston Rd & George Bush Turnpike). Must have the ability to read, speak and write with proficiency in English language; provide and maintain a safe environment; and maintain regular attendance.Ability and willingness to assume the responsibility for continuing pre-planned classroom activities in the absence of the Teacher; administer planned instructional activities and evaluate children as directed by the Teacher. This is a Safety Sensitive position.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance of classroom staff and volunteers. Manage classroom operations; provide supervision, guidance, and coaching to Teacher Assistants, Special Needs Aides and classroom volunteers. Ensure policy and procedures are properly applied and interpreted by classroom teachers. Develop and monitor individual staff training plans. Assess training needs and participate in planning in-service training. Observe and evaluate classroom effectiveness. Evaluate Teacher Assistants according to program schedule, policies and procedures. Participate in curriculum development and recommend necessary changes. Meet regularly with classroom teachers regarding lesson plans and classroom management.     Shift: Part Time, PRN (as needed) The MRI Staff Technologist works under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director, and operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware; enters and monitors patient data, transfers images from disk to PACS. Qualifications: Experience: Has acquired experience and possesses capability as determined to be adequate for the position. Preferred Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or MRI Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours. Preferred Education: Bachelor degree. Licensure: Obtained ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT registry or Advanced register eligible (Achieve advanced registry within 18 months of eligibility).
