As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will:
Install heating and air conditioning equipment and other products per company requirements and manufacturer specifications.
Provide project leadership with less experienced HVAC install apprentices to complete projects.
Ensure safety for self and team members
Works under minimum supervision to install HVAC equipment in the customer's home.
Completes all paperwork accurately and on time.
Provide exceptional customer service. Able to interact with the homeowners while completing installations; ensure customers understand how to utilize their newly installed systems.
Offer additional add-on options, such as in-Door Air Quality products such as filters, humidifiers, and surge protectors.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years in HVAC installation experience in the field
Proficient in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork system
Demonstrated ability to build and transition duct work, install indoor/outdoor units, braze and solder
Ability to lead and coach apprentices on projects
Knowledge of HVAC parts and their functions
Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings
EPA 2 Certification Required Universal is Preferred. Nate Certified is a Bonus.

**What you'll do**
+ Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground
+ Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network's circuit post-installation
+ Ensure all splicing operations meet strict customer and industry standards
+ Upgrade existing fiber sheaths with new fiber sheaths
+ Mid-sheath fibers for entry on loose tube or fiber sheaths
+ Cut away the sheath from existing cables to reach faulty connections, and remove the sheath and insulation from newly installed cables and wires
+ Provide guidance to other splicers, as needed
+ Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks
+ Document work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and keeping correct material usage records
+ Other duties as assigned
**What you'll need**
+ To be 18 years of age or older
+ Authorization to work in the United States for this company
+ High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
+ Valid State driver's license (cannot be considered Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
+ Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
+ At least two years of fiber splicing experience
Additional qualifications
+ Certified pole climber or capable of demonstrating proficiency as a pole climber, is preferred
+ Knowledge of telecommunications network structure
**Physical abilities & exposures**
+ **Routinely:** work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance.

Facilities Technician II will be expected to provide insight into projects as the subject matter expert and operate as the lead project manager when assigned. Responsibilities
* Performs a variety of hands-on repair and maintenance work in the following areas: buildings, grounds, equipment and environmental safety.
* Reviews, understands, and acts accordingly with Versiti policies, equipment guidelines and SOP's prior to completing tasks. Actively demonstrates the Versiti core values as well as holding others accountable to them.
* Uses discretion and professionalism working in and around donors, visitors, and employees to complete work in a timely manner and minimize disruptions to operations. Thoroughly cleans up after the completion of work, leaving the area tidy and orderly.
* Performs maintenance and repair of building equipment and grounds in a safe, workmanlike manner.
* Develops and maintains accurate and complete maintenance logs, calendars, schedules and any other administrative tools utilized by the department.
* Actively participates in improving building and equipment efficiencies by continuously refining practices and procedures and coordinating schedules of work for outside contractors/vendors.
* Ability to transition into a project manager role acting as the subject matter expert for small and large-scale projects. Includes providing direction for contractors, ensuring that maintenance schedules are updated and followed appropriately and that the project is completed on time and on budget.
* When required this position should be able to backfill for any Technician I responsibilities/duties.
* Required to participate in the on-call system to ensure facilities assistance is available twenty-four hours/day, seven days/week to address and resolve any urgent facilities problems.
Supervisory Responsibilities
* This position will act as the lead on specific projects that will require oversite of Versiti personnel and/or outside contractors but does not have any direct supervisory responsibility.
