    The salesperson will be responsible for business development, analyzing the goals/needs of the client and developing a solution package that utilizes those strategic advantages provided by BM Roofing. There will be collaboration with the estimating and operations teams to provide a consultative purchasing experience for our clients. The salesperson will be expected to follow a value-based selling process and not a low-cost provider strategy. Creative problem solving and exceptional communication with our clients is the key to our team's success. NOTE: Although this position is considered remote because you do not report to the office daily, you will be expected to live in the sales territory and meet with prospects and clients in person. You will also be expected to do site visits to get on roofs. Job Responsibilities Generate qualified leads Detailed record keeping in (CRM) Customer Relationship Management software Develop and maintain relationships with client base Cultivate strategic partnerships Consult with clients to help them make educated purchasing decisions while achieving their business goals Effectively communicate in a timely manner with other internal departments to provide a seamless and worry-free process for clients Communicate accurate forecasting of future sales for management Participate in training and strategic sales planning Attend networking events, Chamber(s) of Commerce, trade shows, charity functions, and other business social events. Costs will be covered by BM Roofing when preapproved. Some of these events may take place in the evening or on weekends.
