The New York Red Bulls are one of 30 teams in Major League Soccer (MLS). RBNY, one of the ten charter clubs of MLS, have competed in the league since its founding in 1996. The Red Bulls play home matches at Sports Illustrated Stadium (SIS) in Harrison, New Jersey. The three-time MLS Supporters' Shield Winners are owned by the Austrian beverage company Red Bull for which the team is named. The New York Red Bulls offer one of the nation's premier youth soccer development programs, from local soccer partnerships across New York and New Jersey to Regional Development Schools and the Red Bulls Academy teams. Purpose of this Internship The purpose of this role is to support Sports Illustrated Stadium's mission of delivering best-in-class live event experiences across sports, entertainment, and community programming. As part of the Stadium Events team, you will help win events, execute, elevate our fan-first environment, and ensure the venue operates at the highest standard. Your work directly contributes to building Sports Illustrated Stadium reputation as a premier destination for sports & entertainment. This is an unpaid, for credit internship (proof that you will receive credit is required). Job Description Practical experience in the full lifecycle of event booking & execution, including prospecting & pitching to contracting and handoff to operations Basics of evaluating event evaluation, negotiating terms, managing calendars, and partnering with promoters, agencies, rights-holders, and internal stakeholders. Develop a strong understanding of venue economics, technical requirements, risk assessment, and the broader live entertainment and sports landscape Relationship building and strategic sales planning Develop and deliver venue pitch materials and tracking documents Market trends & industry developments to identify new business opportunities. Qualifications A current college student or recent graduate with an interest in sports, live events, entertainment, or venue management. A strong communicator who feels comfortable interacting with internal teams and external partners Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks Proactive problem solver who takes initiatives and is excited to contribute wherever needed Curious, coachable, and open to feedback, with a desire to develop new skills Comfortable working in a team setting and collaborating with departments across the club and venue Interest to prospect, pitch, and close events in a competitive marketplace Excellent communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple prospects and deadlines simultaneously. Proficient with productivity and presentation tools Additional Information Because of the cyclical nature of the entertainment industry, your assigned hours may vary to reflect our needs (includes nights and weekends).
