Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate tracking, storage, and handling of cannabis and related products in compliance with industry regulations.
Conduct regular inventory audits and resolve any discrepancies.
Work closely with Inventory to monitor stock levels to maintain product availability and communicate the need for reorders.
Support receiving processes, including product labeling and shelving.
Implement and uphold all inventory control procedures in alignment with company policies.
Collaborate with purchasing teams to streamline supplier relations and restocking timelines.
Act as the go-to expert on inventory management practices, offering guidance and support to team members.
Maintain compliance with all cannabis-related regulations and company guidelines.
Assist the operations team in achieving store goals and contribute to overall operational success.
Stay up to date on industry trends, new products, and regulations influencing inventory processes.
Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirement:
Must have a minimum of 2 years of dispensary or retail inventory experience.
Must have experience in METRC.
Previous experience in inventory management, retail operations, or a similar role.
Knowledge in cannabis
Skills & Knowledge:
Deep understanding of cannabis strain varieties, their medicinal benefits, and associated laws.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in retail technologies and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to assess data, track trends, and implement data-driven decisions.
