What you'll do as a Warehouse Selector:
* Select product and load trucks, moving product between the loading dock and the warehouse and moving product within the warehouse.
* May work in various areas of the warehouse such as Dry, Refrigerated, Perishables, Freezer, and others.
* McLane provides freezer suits, hats, and gloves to you.
* Review documents and record information; verify quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product.
* Drive and operate a reach truck and pallet jack to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock.
* Hand-stack product on occasion when items are off balance or in the wrong location.
* Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
* Clean work area.
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:
* At least 18 years of age.
* Able to perform accurate visual inspections and repeatedly lift to 50 pounds or more.
* At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift is preferred, but not required.
* This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.

What You'll Do:
Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using the ERP system.
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and BOMs to confirm material and component requirements for production.

Who You Are:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Supply Chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory control, or warehouse coordination in a metal fabrication environment.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, and BOMs.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Maintain finished goods inventory count and data accuracy
Manage finished goods discrepancies and resolution
Ensure accurate data entry for returned goods inventory
Reconciles all site equipment and goods including but not limited to uniforms, office supplies, maintenance equipment, tools and housekeeping supplies, etc.
Ensures that all non-finished goods inventory purchased as the location buyer is processed properly, and vendor invoices are closed timely.
Onsite subject matter expert for verifying that all purchases initiated through a Purchase Order are processed according to standard work.
Partner with the finance, maintenance engineering and procurement teams to oversee inventory management, data and processes for fixed assets at the site level.
Key procurement liaison for communicating site's fixed asset utilization needs and justification for FA retained inventory
Maximize spend consolidation through national supply agreements and preferred vendor lists when applicable.
Adhere to vendor payment terms, proactively resolving any invoice related issues that could hold payment.
Create and manage interplant orders for non-pipe and fittings moving from manufacturing locations to pipe locations
Manages quality material status based on established ADS quality standards and processes.

Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to perform a variety of tasks efficiently, safely, and accurately to ensure customer service excellence.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Verify, receive and put away incoming stock
Pull, pack, stage and ship outgoing orders and transfers
Assist customers with orders, as needed
Assist customers in processing returns of warranty items and stock items
Operate handheld scanners to receive, move and track inventory in and out of the facility
Assist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle count and physical inventory

Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA and company safety programs

Use WMS unit technology to pick product within various warehouse environments of fluctuating temperatures, including Dry, Cooler, and Freezer (up to -8) areas for the store orders
Stack product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures
Operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift to transport product
Maintain and safely operates all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, WMS unit technology, and personal protective equipment. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and safely operates all mechanical equipment.
