Specific responsibilities will include:

Media Relations and External Communications; Create and implement a proactive reputation management and press relations program to favorably position Vanguard and its leadership within top-tier, regional, trade, business and financial press. Develop and manage an effective crisis and issues management program that signals an early warning for any scenario that could be disruptive to the business. Anticipate, identify and mitigate communications and reputation risk.
Executive Communications; Supports and equips company CEO, executives, and leadership team to be trustworthy, knowledgeable and talented spokespersons for the enterprise and within the industry more broadly, which enables the company to be well-positioned externally with key audiences in the advancement of corporate image and reputation.
Internal and Employee Engagement; Build and manage a strategic internal communications plan to educate, align and engage internal stakeholders around the mission, reputation and enterprise goals, including change management communications initiatives.
Digital and Social Communications; Create and drive a digital media strategy for Vanguard that helps to integrate and connect the story across all platforms. Design and develop processes and standards to effectively monitor and analyze internal and external communications campaigns and efforts.
Stakeholder Management; Establish strong, collaborative relationships with senior leadership. Foster positive relationships between corporate communications and the businesses and collaborate closely with leadership in support of business objectives.

Responsibilities:
Oversees technical data product management activities for multiple technical products, or one strategic technical product, with cross-divisional impact. Drives the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.
Own the roadmap for multiple technical products or one strategic product with cross-divisional impact.
Drive design, development, and continuous improvement of technical solutions using modern engineering practices (CI/CD, automated deployments).
Apply qualitative and quantitative analysis to optimize user experience. Lead special projects and strategic initiatives that advance enterprise data capabilities.
Drives the team's engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required. Graduate degree preferred.
Minimum of eight years related business experience. Three years of leading large cross-functional teams on major organizational projects preferred. Previous people-leadership experience a must.

Vanguard's Internal Audit and SOX department has an exciting opportunity for an Internal Auditor- Information Technology (IT) on our Global Technology Audit Services (GTAS) Team. In this role, you will complete risk-based audit and consulting engagements to evaluate management's internal controls and influence senior levels of management to take action to improve the control environment. You will collaborate with collaborator groups across divisions and be instrumental in completing the audit coverage strategy for technology risks and controls for a variety of IT platforms and functions. You will have the opportunity to build strong relationships with audit and technology leaders while continuing to grow your technology acumen.
Responsibilities:
Perform complex work for risk-based audits and consulting engagements (including research, evaluation and analysis, testing and reporting) on topics related to risk, governance, process, technology, controls, and operating practices of assigned engagements.
Communicate with various levels of management (department and client) to discuss engagement progress and results. Identify opportunities to strengthen processes and controls for related remediation efforts. Effectively build relationships with process owners and management.
Participate in client discussions throughout the engagement and execute audit and consulting work, including assessment of risk and effectiveness of controls based on relevant knowledge and experience. Encourage healthy debate and collaboration among the audit team.
Prepare and deliver high-quality internal work papers and client facing deliverables such as process/control narratives, flowcharts, testing documentation, conclusions, recommendations and audit report findings to be shared with the audit team and clients. Apply relevant industry acumen including best practices, established standards, and global impact considerations in order to provide recommendations to IT management.
Act as a mentor to less experienced auditors by coaching on internal audit processes and methodology as well as business lines and supporting technology.
Participate in special projects and department initiatives, as needed.
Requirements:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. IT degree or concentration preferred.
Minimum of three years in related industry with a minimum of 1-2 years of IT operational/internal audit, IT risk, or IT controls experience required.
AWS Cloud Practitioner is preferred.
Hybrid position requiring proximity to Chesterbrook, PA office.
