I am an information technology professional with twenty year’s experience. I am an excellent strategist with a proven ability to design, implement and manage information systems that support organizational objectives. I am skilled at managing teams and projects and accustomed to dealing with colleagues, executives and clients at all levels and I have a track record of delivering comprehensive solutions to complex problems.

As Chief Research Officer, Claire leads a team of 15 researchers and survey experts across multiple country offices. She provides strategic direction to major research projects, manages and builds strong client relationships, develops academic partnerships, and keeps the team abreast of new and innovative techniques and methods in research design and implementation.

Claire has over 20 years of experience in research, analysis, and business consulting. For the last 12 years, she has focused on quantitative and qualitative evaluation research and operations. Her areas of expertise include disaster risk management and risk finance, social and child protection, food security, and poverty measurement. Before turning to the field of evaluation and development assistance, Claire worked in software development. She holds a PhD in Geography from the University of Colorado, an MA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University, and a BA in French and International Studies from Washington University.

As Deputy Chief of Party, Lena provides technical assistance and support to the Chief of Party and Field Monitors for Kimetrica’s East Africa office. She is responsible for contract management and compliance. She recruits, trains, and assists with the field staff management.

Lena is a financial business manager,with profound experience as point person and liaison for the United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) Office of Food for Peace' (FFP) on contractual matters. At USAID she played a lead role in the development and revision of all deliverables, and provided more than 12 years of technical and food security support services to USAID/FFP's Washington and overseas field FFP Country Backstop Officers and implementing partners. Lena attended Wharton Business School of the University of Pennsylvania and has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration; she's earned an M.B.A. degree from Averett University with a concentration in Global Business.

As Chief of Party, Rob is responsible for leading food security analysis and third-party monitoring in remote, hard-to-reach communities. He is also responsible for providing regular reports and advice to donors, humanitarian organizations and NGOs.

Rob is an agriculture and livestock specialist, with over 20 years of experience working with rural communities in East Africa. This experience provides him with a unique insight into the lives of agricultural and pastoral communities in the region, and the multiple factors that influence their food security. Rob holds a degree in Agriculture from Wye college, University of London, and a Master’s degree in Tropical Animal Production and Health from the Centre for Tropical Veterinary Medicine, University of Edinburgh.
