Kiva CEO and leadership

Chris joined Kiva in 2021. He is a technology CEO and advisor with more than 25 years of experience developing and leading beloved consumer technology businesses.

Previously, Chris was the CEO of Vivino, the world's largest online wine marketplace and most downloaded wine app, and President of StubHub, the world's largest online ticket marketplace. Under his nearly 8 years of leadership at StubHub, the company grew the value of tickets sold from $400 million to $3.2 billion while doubling customer satisfaction and increasing brand awareness by over 50%.

Prior to leading these organizations, Chris was an eBay Marketplaces executive from 2003 to 2014 and managing partner at Trefo, a consulting firm focused on high-technology startup companies. Chris started his career as a consultant with Bain & Company, working in their Boston, London, Warsaw and Moscow offices. In newly democratized Russia, Chris saw how lack of access to capital hindered the success of privatized small businesses.

Chris graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was the first in his family to graduate college or high school. Chris is a heart disease survivor and, since 2011, has served as a volunteer and board member for the American Heart Association at both the local and regional level.

Jessica Erin Jackley (born October 29, 1977) is an American entrepreneur who co-founded Kiva and later ProFounder, two organizations that promote development through microloans.

Silvija Martincevic is the Chief Commercial Officer of Affirm-the technology company that offers a more transparent form of credit and has a mission to deliver honest financial products and improve lives. At Affirm, Silvija is focused on the creation and execution of strategic initiatives that drive growth and empower teams to scale responsibly.

Previously, Silvija was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer of Groupon's International business where she partnered with Kiva and first “fell in love” with Kiva’s mission. Before her experience in consumer technology companies, Silvija spent a decade in the investment management industry where she focused on socially-responsible, female, and minority-owned funds. Silvija earned her B.A. in Economics at Beloit College and an M.B.A. in Econometrics and Statistics from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Silvija has a longstanding passion for delivering economic empowerment to underserved communities. This passion was ignited based on her own experience growing up in Croatia during a communist era and immigrating to the U.S. at the age of 17 after the Balkan wars.

Matthew Davie is Chief Strategy Officer at Kiva, a global non-profit focused on bringing financial inclusion to the world’s unbanked populations. In this role, he leads new initiatives that bring emerging technologies to vulnerable populations around the world. Additionally, Matthew is a board member at Diem and a senior advisor at the Linux Foundation, the World Economic Forum, and ID2020. Prior to Kiva, he was an executive at multiple technology companies in the data, entertainment, and gaming sectors. Matthew earned a B.S. from the University of California at Davis and a Ph.D. from Stanford University.
