Serve on various university committees as the official representative of the Graduate Studies Office (e.g. Academic Advisory Council, Chair of Graduate Instructional Committee, Strategic Enrollment Management Committee); Represent the University at State and National conferences on behalf of Graduate Studies at TX A&M University at Galveston. Advising/Counseling/Other: Monitors and advises graduate students including but not limited to using the University system for student registration, degree audit, course prerequisites, etc. Advises student in areas of graduation tasks such as degree plan petitions, research proposal submission, preliminary exam completion and submission of final exam, professional concerns, financial aid, student services, degree programs, and career and educational goals.
