Lanier Ford’s history in the Huntsville community dates back to 1899 when Milton H. Lanier, Sr., opened his solo practice.
Shortly afterwards, Earle Ford began his practice in 1916.
In 1988, the two firms merged to form Lanier Ford Shaver and Payne, one of Alabama's largest firms at that time.
In 2009 the firm joined Huntsville’s skyline after moving into its current location at the corner of Clinton Avenue and Memorial Parkway.
