The Les Turner ALS Foundation provides comprehensive care and support services to people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and their families. Position Description
The Sponsorship and Events Manager is responsible for developing, securing, and managing sponsorships, partnerships, and strategic alliances that support the organization's events and broader brand initiatives. This role is also responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of events-from concept to completion-ensuring alignment with business goals, sponsor deliverables, and audience engagement targets.
This is a high-impact role because a significant percentage of our revenue is secured through our events and sponsorships.

Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship & Partnership Management (55%)
Develop and implement sponsorship strategies to secure financial and in-kind support for events and campaigns.
Identify, pitch, and negotiate with prospective sponsors, tailoring proposals to align with partner goals and audience demographics.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with sponsors and partners.
Manage sponsor fulfillment and ensure all contractual obligations are delivered accurately and on time.
Track and report on sponsorship revenue, KPIs, and ROI.
Create sponsorship assets, packages, decks, and post-event reports to demonstrate value and performance.
Collaborate with Communications and Support Services teams to align sponsorship activities with our brand messaging
Event Planning & Execution (45%)
Plan and execute a calendar of in-person, hybrid, and virtual events (e.g., our gala, ALS Walk for Life, Team Race for ALS and other partnership events)
Manage our outside events consultants who provide support for our Hope Through Caring Gala and ALS Walk for Life events
With the support of our events consultants, manage all event logistics, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor negotiation, AV, signage, staffing, and post-event wrap-up.
Oversee guest experiences and ensure a high experience quality throughout all event touchpoints.
Collaborate cross-functionally to market events, increase attendance, and drive engagement.
Monitor event performance, collect feedback, and implement improvements for future events.
Qualifications
3-5+ years of experience in sponsorship, partnerships, ideally within the not-for-profit sectors.
Proven track record of securing and managing high-value sponsorships.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
Experience in end-to-end event management.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Virtuous) and event fundraising software platforms (e.g., OneCause and GiveSmart)
Preferred Experience (a Plus, but Not Required)
Experience with Virtuous CRM

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
Educates HR and leadership on utilization of HRIS, timekeeping and other HR software.
Partners with AVP, Team Member Relations and Compliance to conducts quarterly audits of communities' team member electronic records and HRIS operations.
Documents and maintains HRIS procedures and provides training on new systems and upgrades.
Establishes and documents HR service standards and procedures for all team member maintenance activities, benefit administration, workflows, and protocols.
Establishes, operationalizes, engages team members in, and sustains a Quality Assurance Process Improvement process.
Develops knowledge transfer strategies and techniques.
Oversees project and change management associated with HRIS.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Required:

Job Description
We are currently hiring for Overnight House-Sitter/Pet-Sitters.
**We are especially interested in House-sitters available during our busiest time of year -- winter holiday break -- sometime between 12/23-1/2.
This position requires OVERNIGHT STAYS (sleeping over in a client's home) with the client's animals. Each overnight stay begins from the dinner period (arrival between 5-7pm) and continues until the morning period (departure between 7-9am).
Please note: House-sitters are NOT able to bring guests with them into the client's home during their stay.
House-sitting includes:
walking the dog(s)
feedings
medications if necessary
maintaining each animal's routine.
House-sitting may also include other pet-sitting or vacation care tasks such as bringing in the mail/newspaper, plant care, cleaning up messes (ie: hairballs, accidents), and keeping the home in order while the clients are away.
Fees
The base rate paid to a house-sitter for each night of house-sitting is $32.50 for one dog and goes up from there depending on client surcharges. There are extra fees given to the house-sitter for additional animals in the home, extra visits scheduled during the daytime, and for holidays. (Potential gratuity from clients is not reflected in this rate.)
Scheduling
House-sitting jobs last anywhere from 1 night to 2 weeks. House-sitters typically will take one booking per month. They may take on more bookings depending on their availability and client requests.
House-sitters are independent contractors with Heaven Sent and are offered client "bookings" as clients schedule vacation care with us. House-sitters work on an "as-needed" basis and accept or reject each booking on an individual basis.
HolidaysOur preference is that house-sitters are available for at least 2 out of 3 of our busiest holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Years, Spring Break). There is an extra surcharge paid to sitters for holiday work.
