This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded Labor & Employment Practice Group that handles sophisticated, high-stakes matters for a diverse client base. Responsibilities Represent employers in a broad range of labor and employment litigation matters. Handle expedited proceedings, including temporary restraining orders and temporary injunctions. Litigate trade secret misappropriation and non-compete disputes. Work on wage and hour class and collective actions, as well as single-plaintiff employment litigation. Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings; conduct legal research; and manage discovery. Assist with trial preparation in both state and federal courts. Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations. Qualifications JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Active and good-standing membership in the Texas Bar. Approximately 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience. Experience with motion practice and discovery required. Trial preparation experience and exposure to settlement negotiations preferred. Spanish fluency is a plus, but not required.
