As a Commercial Loan Processor, you'll play a vital role in preparing and funding loan documents that uphold approved credit decisions, protect the Association's collateral position, and maintain strong internal controls. You will be able to exercise your accounting and clerical skills to prepare proper loan funding in accordance with the Association policy and procedure. This position contributes directly supports agricultural producers and rural businesses across our territory. You'll work in a collaborative culture that values confidentiality, time management, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service.
What You'll Do:
Prepare commercial loan documents in accordance with approved credit packages, ensuring accuracy of terms, rates, conditions, collateral descriptions, and supporting details
Prepare and submit attorney instruction letters and coordinate with third‑party attorneys or closing agents to ensure timely and accurate loan closings
Work closely with LoanOfficers, Financial Specialists, Servicing Specialists, and external partners to complete accurate and timely loan closings
Process and confirm proper perfection of all intended collateral lien positions
Ensure timely scanning, filing, and organization of loan documents, forms, and checklists in accordance with Association policy and procedures
Prepare loan funding including checks and/or wires, ensuring compliance with internal control policies
Accurately book loan transactions into the system, including both cash and non‑cash transactions
Ensure consistency and accuracy between approved credit packages, executed documents, and final system entry
Complete post‑closing verifications and document quality reviews to support accurate financial reporting
Assist with incoming phone calls and branch visitors as needed, helping build strong relationships and deliver excellent service
Adhere to all internal control, compliance, and confidentiality standards
Support high‑quality loan servicing and accounting from application through loan payoff and release
