Oversee and lead all Credit and non‑retail Lending divisions of the Company. Strategically plan, communicate and execute the Company lending, and credit quality philosophy by engaging internal and external resources to grow the loan portfolio within an acceptable risk profile. The CBO will coordinate with the CEO, CFO and other executives to establish goals, priorities, policies and processes that enable the Company to achieve expected performance levels related to lending and credit quality. The CBO will work to coordinate the establishment of lending goals for C&I, CRE, Ag, and Mortgage Lending, along with Treasury Management. Additionally, the CBO is responsible for setting and enforcing the overarching credit evaluation philosophy and practice for the organization. Included in this is the management and leadership of all Credit Support areas such as Loan Administration, Loan Document Processing, Credit Analysis, etc. As an executive, the CBO must also create and strengthen relationships with employees that provide open lines of communication to foster teamwork, trust and a supportive culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all operational aspects of the Bank's Mortgage Lending and Underwriting activities operate in a safe and sound manner in the best interest of shareholders, the Board of Directors, customers, employees, and the public.
Lead the Commercial lending teams of Farmers National Bank by establishing appropriate strategies, goals and expectations for various loans by type and volume
Oversee the Company's Treasury Management sales and operations activities.
Ensure all Mortgage Lending operations are effectively integrated to achieve optimal outcomes for the Bank, our clients and Shareholders
Develop and implement strategies to accommodate current and future organizational plans, programs, and needs.
Provide the highest level of customer relations and service
Ensure compliance with Bank policies, procedures and processes.
Oversee the Mortgage Sales lines of business Meet and interact with various regulatory agencies, representatives and examiners (Federal Reserve, OCC, SEC, OTS, etc.) as necessary.
As necessary, meet with investors and analysts to report on the current status of the Company
Partners with Senior Leaders in Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, Risk Management and Audit to develop and implement effective processes/procedures, and promote a team‑oriented culture throughout the Company
Serve as a member of, or chairperson of various Sr. Management Committees as needed
Actively promote a positive and engaged partnership with the community by sitting on community boards and/or participating in/chairing local programs, charities or meetings
Serve as an active member of the Farmers National Bank Board of Directors
Complete all mandatory and elective training, including BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) and Anti‑Money Laundering procedures. Maintain compliance with all appropriate rules and regulations.

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Commercial and Mortgage departments. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Minimum of fifteen (15) years financial executive leadership experience; extensive experience in mortgage lending and Treasury Management highly preferred and/ or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must have a minimum of ten (10) years supervisory experience; managing multiple departments efficiently
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have full knowledge of current banking regulations with regard to credit risk, general knowledge of all areas of banking operations, bank finance and risk management
Strong knowledge of credit policies and lending practices
Must possess excellent computer skills and knowledge; Proficient in Word, Excel, Internet navigation/research, and Outlook is expected

Job Description

What you do:
Provide initial review, analysis and written recommendations on new mortgage loans presented by loan correspondents or other sources. For loan opportunities, complete submission briefs, draft application-commitment documents and other related loan production documents.

Review inspection reports and operating statement reports for individual loans. Add appropriate data to the portfolio management systems and notify management regarding issues discovered. As requested, provide written rationale and recommendations for loans to be added to or removed from portfolio watch lists. Update valuation models using current property-level data.
Provide requested support on real estate equity transactions. Such support will include analysis and commentary on individual markets, locations and other underwriting criteria.
What you bring:
Zero to two years of relevant experience required.
Previous experience in commercial real estate management, banking, investment management or related areas desired.
Associate degree required. Strong preference for bachelor's degree with a major in finance, real estate, or similar field of study.
Communication skills, reasoning and analytical skills; ability to operate independently, and ability to execute independent judgment are all required.
Industry relevant professional certifications or licensing are desirable but not required.

Job Purpose
The Residential Mortgage Consultant solicits residential mortgage and home equity loan business to meet defined production objectives. As a trusted professional to the home loan applicant, they will provide exceptional customer service through all stages of the loan decision cycle from initial interview through application, loan processing and loan closing. They will provide individual attention to each applicant to understand their mortgage lending needs and provide recommendations accordingly. The Mortgage Consultant has the responsibility of gathering the borrower's personal information (in-person, telephone, on-line, or e-mail) and inputting it into the bank's loan origination system.
The Mortgage Consultant will further assist customers by identifying and understanding their needs for non-mortgage bank products. Relying on their established internal partner network and through the use of the banks sales referral system, the Mortgage Consultant will facilitate referrals to other lines of business.
Job Duties
* Consistently meet or exceeds established production, referral, and customer satisfaction objectives

Conduct weekly pipeline calls with your processor and/or team to ensure all information is shared, and all needs are identified with "what is needed", "who is responsible to satisfy need" and "when will it be completed."

Job Purpose
The Residential Mortgage Consultant solicits residential mortgage and home equity loan business to meet defined production objectives. The Consultant will develop and nurture an extensive network of mortgage loan referral sources including retail branch partners, realtors, builders and other center-of-influence professionals (CPA's, Attorney, Financial Planners). They will also be an active member of the community in which they live or work and will provide consumer education, product knowledge and support to promote homeownership within their community.
The Mortgage Consultant will understand all of the residential mortgage and home equity products the bank offers and will understand, and remain current, on the regulations (Regulation Z, Regulation B, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, RESPA etc.) governing the mortgage lending industry. As a trusted professional to the home loan applicant, they will provide exceptional customer service through all stages of the loan decision cycle from initial interview through application, loan processing and loan closing. They will provide individual attention to each applicant to understand their mortgage lending needs and provide recommendations accordingly. The Mortgage Consultant has the responsibility of gathering the borrower's personal information (in-person, telephone, on-line, or e-mail) and inputting it into the bank's loan origination system.
The Mortgage Consultant will further assist customers by identifying and understanding their needs for non-mortgage bank products. Relying on their established internal partner network and through the use of the banks sales referral system, the Mortgage Consultant will facilitate referrals to other lines of business.
Job Duties
Consistently meet or exceeds established production, referral, and customer satisfaction objectives
Meet with prospective borrowers to discuss lending options, review the borrowers financial and credit information, and present mortgage loan products
Responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing guidance on product options
Enter complete and thorough application information into the loan origination system
Contact the applicant to collect all supporting documentation required for a complete loan package and uploading into the loan origination system as necessary
Actively communicate with prospective borrowers during the application process either in person, by phone, or electronically. Manage loan pipeline, proactively keeping borrowers up to date on the status of their loan request
Serve as trusted advisor to other lines of business by attending market team meetings and by participating in joint sales call efforts
Collaborate with the loan fulfillment team to ensure key process milestones are met, regulations are adhered to and the loan is processed efficiently
Uncover client financial needs through the mortgage interview process and make referrals through the sales referral system
Contact all incoming mortgage referrals and keep sales referral system up to date
Demonstrates initiative in developing a broad referral network of retail partners, realtors and other professionals/centers of influence; may involve cold-calling and/or prospecting
Participate in community activities/organizations that promote the bank and homeownership, including hosting or presenting first-time home buyer or home ownership principles seminars to agencies or members of the community
Attends and participates in Consumer Lending meetings as required by management
Supports other Mortgage Consultants as necessary
Will perform special projects as assigned
