Growth Marketing Manager, Fintech
Gigs, Inc. 4.3
Marketing team member job in San Francisco, CA
About Gigs
At Gigs, we're building the operating system for mobile services-a platform that lets tech companies embed global connectivity into their products effortlessly.
Just as Stripe lets any business add a payment button in seconds, Gigs empowers platforms to weave in connectivity-bridging the traditional world of telecom with modern tech. From fintechs launching mobile services to HR platforms offering work phone plans, we automate provisioning and remove telecom complexity.
Our team of around 100 people across the US and Europe, backed by nearly $100 million in funding from Ribbit Capital, Google, and Y Combinator. As one of the fastest-growing tech companies, bringing together early-stage engineers, product builders, and business athletes from companies like Stripe, Airbnb, and Shopify. We're tackling deep technical and regulatory challenges to make connectivity truly seamless.
If you're driven by curiosity, creativity, and the chance to shape the future of telecom, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
The Growth Marketing function at Gigs is focused on scaling our company by driving product adoption, and revenue, by using a data-driven approach to messaging, GTM, and campaigns. We're searching for a data-driven B2B2C marketer who can bring to life the value of connectivity to attract, convert, and retain both businesses and end users. You'll enable ENT sales with content that supports every stage of the funnel-from scalable awareness-driving materials to high-impact conversion and retention content. Post product launch, you'll work with our customers' marketingteams to drive scale.
What you will do
Drive consumer love and business impact: Serve as the connective tissue across internal teams (Design, Product, and GTM) and our customers' Marketing and GTM teams to deliver strong launches and sustained end user growth
Develop revenue-driving partner: Co-create campaigns and content with our partners, reaching the consumers buying phone plans through our customers' apps, with a sharp focus on messaging that moves key metrics like activation and retention.
Inform GTM strategy and analytics: Shape GTM and consumer acquisition strategies using internal data and market insights. Build and operationalize measurement to effectively reach and understand US audiences.
Scale our partner marketing engine post-launch: Partner closely with Gigs teams and customers to evolve launch campaigns into always-on programs, maintaining momentum well beyond day one.
What we are looking for
6-8 years of relevant experience: Background in growth, or product marketing, ideally in a fast-paced (consumer) tech environment.
Strong execution: Comfortable building complex campaign flows and optimizing performance through segmentation, channel mix, and timing.
Analytical and metrics-driven: Sharp analytical instincts, with a track record of partnering with Product, Data, and Finance to define success metrics, implement tracking, and measure impact.
Cross-functional collaborator: Energized by working across teams; you enjoy rallying stakeholders, navigating complexity, and keeping momentum high.
Before You Apply...
The truth is, what we're building isn't easy. We expect a lot, and operate with urgency and ownership. This won't be the right place for everyone, and that's okay.
This role probably isn't a fit if:
You need a lot of structure, or layers of process to do your best work
You prefer to specialize narrowly and wait for direction rather than taking initiative
You're uncomfortable making decisions with imperfect information or wearing multiple hats
You're looking for a “big company” setup - we're still building many things for the first time
But if you're excited by the idea of building from zero, working with passion, and leaving your mark on something that matters - we'd love to meet you.
Work at Gigs
At Gigs, we know that different work styles and teams thrive in different environments. Some work best remotely, while others rely on in-person collaboration to spark creativity and drive execution. We're remote-friendly by design, but we also offer hubs for those who need the energy and focus that only in-person collaboration can bring.
Gigs Pads: Our hubs in San Francisco, London, Amsterdam, and Berlin are vibrant spots where Gigsters connect, collaborate, and create together.
Gigs Republic: Twice a year, our entire company comes together to strengthen bonds, align on big ideas, and share experiences that fuel our culture and ignite growth.
What We Offer
At Gigs, we believe in rewarding excellence. We offer competitive compensation and stock options because we see you as a true partner in our growth. We also provide stipends for your home office or work setup, a budget for learning and development to fuel your career, and of course, a free phone and international data plan
Want to learn more about our benefits, hubs, and what it's like to work at Gigs? Check out our Careers page.

What you'll do
We're looking for a strategic, creative, and data‑driven marketing leader to bridge brand storytelling with measurable performance outcomes.
As the Manager of Performance Marketing (Brandformance), you'll own campaigns that elevate brand awareness while driving tangible business results - from engagement and lead generation to pipeline and ROI. You'll partner across brand, creative, and growth teams to design campaigns that blend emotion with precision: shaping perception while delivering measurable efficiency.
This role is ideal for a marketer who not only understands the power of storytelling but can transform upper‑funnel channels into down‑funnel performance engines, proving impact through metrics like CAC, pipeline, and LTV:CAC efficiency.
This role is based in San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute brandformance strategies that connect upper‑ and lower‑funnel goals across paid social, video, display, and emerging channels.
Create full‑funnel frameworks that evolve brand channels into performance levers - reducing CAC and improving conversion efficiency.
Define KPIs that bridge brand health and business impact, including aided awareness, engagement rate, conversion rate, and pipeline contribution.
Partner with Brand, Product Marketing, and Performance Media to align messaging, audiences, and creative across the funnel.
Build testing roadmaps for creative, targeting, and content sequencing to improve resonance and drive action.
Lead multi‑channel campaign planning and execution across LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and programmatic channels.
Manage campaign setup, pacing, and budget allocation to deliver efficiency across both awareness and acquisition metrics.
Build and optimize always‑on upper‑funnel campaigns that directly influence down‑funnel performance - leveraging data‑driven creative and sequential messaging.
Collaborate with creative partners to evolve brand assets based on engagement, conversion, and CAC insights.
Ensure tracking and UTMs are implemented correctly across all campaigns for accurate attribution and reporting.
Partner with analytics and data teams to unify brand and performance measurement - from impression share and reach to MQLs, pipeline, and CAC.
Run brand lift, incrementality, and efficiency analyses to quantify the ROI of upper‑funnel investments.
Create and maintain dashboards (Looker, Tableau, GA4) visualizing both brand health and down‑funnel impact.
Translate insights into actionable creative and channel optimizations that enhance ROI over time.
Collaborate with Brand, Product Marketing, and Growth to ensure creative and media align to the customer journey.
Partner with Regional and Global Marketingteams to adapt brandformance frameworks for local markets.
Work with Finance, RevOps, and Analytics to monitor performance against CAC and pipeline goals.
Act as the bridge between creative storytelling and data‑driven optimization, advocating for performance‑backed brand growth.
Who you are
We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.
Minimum qualifications:
5+ years of experience in performance or brand marketing, ideally within a B2B SaaS or fintech environment.
Proven track record transforming upper‑funnel channels into measurable down‑funnel performance drivers - improving CAC and efficiency.
Strong understanding of paid media ecosystems, incrementality measurement, brand lift, search lift, geoX experiments, and direct hands‑on success with halo lift strategies
Ability to balance brand strategy with performance rigor, translating creative ideas into measurable results.
Exceptional analytical skills - experienced in interpreting media data and connecting it to pipeline and ROI.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across creative, marketing, and analytics functions.
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Econometrics, Business Analytics.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience running integrated brand‑to‑demand campaigns across multiple geographies.
Familiarity with multi‑touch attribution (MTA), MMM, and lift testing frameworks.
Understanding of AI and automation workflows for creative optimization and content scaling.
Strong grasp of CAC, LTV, and ROI modeling to guide investment decisions.

We started with swimming pools which took us to $50M+ in 4 years, but pools are just the beginning. We're creating a new category within local experiences. Think Airbnb for swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, and homes by the hour!
The Role
We're looking for a Growth Marketer who lives and breathes experimentation, someone who can spot unconventional opportunities, hack attention, and turn ideas into traction at speed.

Own the growth playbook: Design and run scrappy, high-impact experiments that unlock both guest and host acquisition
Hack new channels: Identify and exploit unconventional growth levers, from guerrilla activations to creator collabs to local brand stunts
Brand activation & partnerships: Dream up and execute collaborations that put Swimply in the cultural conversation
Experiential marketing: Concept, plan, and launch IRL activations (pop-ups, pool parties, court tournaments, local takeovers) that turn heads and convert new users
Performance mindset: Track growth KPIs, double down on what works, and kill what doesn't, fast
Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Product, Ops, and Design to transform growth hacks into scalable programs
Why This Role Matters
Swimply is scaling fast, and growth is our fuel. As our Growth Marketer, you'll be the driving force behind how millions of people discover Swimply, whether through a bold stunt, a brilliant partnership, or a viral campaign no one saw coming. If you're a hacker, builder, and cultural connector all in one, this is your role.
5-7+ years in growth, brand, or marketing roles with a track record of moving the needle
Proven ability to ideate and execute non-traditional campaigns that drive measurable results
Comfortable operating at both strategic level (brand positioning) and tactical level (hands-on execution)
Analytical thinker who thrives on testing, iteration, and data-driven decisions
Creative risk-taker who's resourceful and thrives in ambiguity
Bonus: experience with two-sided marketplaces or community-driven platforms
Competitive cash + equity package
Comprehensive medical, dental & vision; unlimited PTO
Remote‑first culture (U.S./Canada)
Plenty of pool (and pickleball!) time
Opportunity to work directly with the founder inside a high‑growth marketplace rewriting the way 2million+ guests escape locally every year

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll be responsible for building the end-to-end lifecycle strategy, including all the buzzwords: onboarding, nurture, ongoing engagement, winback, product education, and retention. You'll partner closely with product, clinical, and the rest of the marketingteam to ensure every touchpoint is cohesive, compliant, and delivering meaningful patient value.
This role requires an operational thinker who can zoom out to design a strategy and zoom in to build and analyze flows themselves. You'll help define the customer journey and be accountable for improving conversion rates, activation metrics, retention, and long-term LTV.
Responsibilities
Own and execute the lifecycle strategy: Design, launch, and optimize lifecycle programs across email, SMS, push, and in-app channels to drive activation, engagement, retention, and revenue.
Map high-leverage customer touchpoints: Identify moments that educate, reassure, and convert users across their clinical + product experience.
Build and improve lifecycle flows: Own onboarding, nurture, education, personalization, retention, upsell, and winback flows.
Continuously optimize flows: Test and iterate using segmentation, content experiments, and performance insights.
Lead experimentation & analytics: Develop structured testing roadmaps across messaging, timing, channels, and creative.
Use data to drive decisions: Leverage cohort, funnel, and LTV analysis to measure impact and guide optimizations.
Establish a strong CRM foundation: Ensure data flows, triggers, and event tracking are accurate and reliable.
Maintain compliance and quality: Uphold deliverability, QA, privacy, and HIPAA-aligned communication standards.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with product, clinical, and marketingteams to ensure lifecycle messaging is accurate, empathetic, and on-brand.
Translate insights into action: Share lifecycle learnings to influence product, marketing, and content strategies.
Create compelling lifecycle content: Write clear, supportive, high-performing copy across lifecycle touchpoints.
Simplify complex concepts: Translate clinical information into accessible, patient-friendly communication.
Report on performance & outcomes: Build dashboards and communicate results, insights, and recommendations regularly.
Own core lifecycle metrics: Drive improvements in activation, retention, conversion, repeat usage, and LTV.
Qualifications
You have 4-6 years of hands‑on lifecycle or CRM experience at a high‑growth startup, consumer health brand, and/or ecommerce business.
You have deep expertise in email/SMS strategy, journey design, segmentation, and flow optimization-and a track record of improving activation and retention.
You are super analytical, comfortable with funnel analysis, cohort tracking, retention metrics, A/B testing, and turning data into clear recommendations.
You've worked closely with product teams and understand event tracking, triggers, and experimentation frameworks.
You're a strong copywriter with exceptional instincts for clarity, empathy, and brand voice-especially when communicating complex or clinical concepts.
You're an organized project manager, able to juggle multiple flows, campaigns, and stakeholders without losing momentum.
You're entrepreneurial and proactive, energized by building from scratch and creating order in fast‑moving, early‑stage environments.
You're familiar with CRM and analytics tools (Iterable, Mixpanel, etc.).
(Nice‑to‑have) You have experience in healthcare, telehealth, or HIPAA‑regulated environments and understand the nuances of communicating in clinical contexts.
