Overview
Perform a wide variety of manual duties that involve physical labor

Overview
The Carrier Sales Representative II will develop and own strategic relationships with a portfolio of carriers who support AIT's network of external and internal customers. The primary role of the Carrier Sales Representative II will be to procure capacity and build deep relationships with our carrier partners. Negotiate rates with transportation providers at or below current market rates
Partner with Carrier decision makers to align strategies to benefit both organizations
Develop, implement, and manage dedicated capacity solutions for AIT Truckload customers
Lead monthly business reviews with top carriers and regularly monitor carrier performance to address deficiencies urgently with corrective action plans
Ensure all shipments are tracked daily
Drive automation across carrier portfolio (GPS, ELD, EDI)
Communicate accessorial charges to Account Management team in a timely manner to ensure approval and maximum revenue per load as needed
Suggest improvements in procedures that will increase efficiency, develop profit and better serve our customers

The
Warehouse Supervisor
is responsible for supervising company strategy related to domestic, international, VAS and cartage freight warehouse operations through an understanding of industry trends and best practices. Responsibilities
Support warehouse operations staff in the day-to-day activities of Domestic, International, Pick Pack and Ship, and Cartage Freight Warehouse and Department personnel.
Meet directly with local warehouse supplier/tools/equipment providers through all communication levels (email, phone, meeting, provider site visits). Utilize negotiation and communication skills to obtain desired results
Develop an AIT baseline of operations and benchmark to industry standards for AIT logistics areas such as warehousing for domestic, international, and “Pick Pack and Ship” helping to identify opportunities for cost and service improvement. Reach out to peers through attendance of seminars, industry events, education settings and corporate contact.
Supervise and oversee daily domestic service and operations activities as it relates to cartage, freight movement and dispatch pickup/delivery quotes
Provide an effective warehousing system that delivers a high level of service to both external and internal customers. Identify opportunities within the affected areas and partner with Terminal / Station Manager to implement new solutions through project management protocols and elimination of constraints.
Review and suggest changes to permanent and temporary staff as needed to ensure the warehouse department are able to meet company goals.
Achieve warehouse expense goals by working with various AIT internal groups to develop, implement and monitor warehousing logistic metrics.
Ensure safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures

Overview
Recent graduates can kickstart their careers with AIT's Launch program. This two-year immersive program offers comprehensive training, mentorship, global exposure, and career advancement opportunities. In Year 1, trainees will spend time at their home station, gaining a deep understanding of operations and sales processes, and rotate through various departments to develop a well-rounded skill set. Overview
The
Station Manager
is accountable for the P&L and operational oversight and management, leadership and direction of the station to provide quality service, customer satisfaction and operational proficiency that ensures growth and profitability goals/objectives are met. The

is responsible for implementation and compliance with company policies and procedures, quality standards, and other applicable regulatory guidelines, with respect to operational, administrative, customer service, marketing, and sales functions for the site. This position will develop and grow business in their dedicated region and will conduct business development activities.
Responsibilities
Lead, direct, and manage all station functions to ensure that all departments and staff execute service agreements.
Maximize profitability through superior customer service, effective and prompt communication and follow-up on all pending matters with the customer.
Responsible for business development, sales and marketing and new account development to ensure that maximum transportation revenue is generated for the station.
Provide station staff with daily guidance, leadership and overall support on any issues relating to operations, communication, human resources, revenue enhancement, standardizing procedures, systems applications, and executing processes to meet customer needs.
Develop and execute plans, and programs to meet anticipated organizational needs in the areas of functional responsibility and ensure compliance with corporate policies and guidelines, quality standards, and other regulatory requirements.
Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated business development goals and objectives.
Review and evaluate station P&L performance and establish short term goals to address any budgetary shortfalls.
Collaborate with senior management to develop continuous improvement methodology in key areas of service, profit, and growth, and use key performance indicators to drive and quantify cost optimization while maintaining customer quality and service.
Ensure that freight is being expedited in a safe and timely manner.
Ensure safety methods and programs are implemented and maintained.
Utilize superior communication skills to motivate staff and develop effective working relationships with peers, executives, and clients.
Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.
The wage range for this position is $106,710.00-$160,070.00 and may vary based on geography as well as relative knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred / High School Diploma with equivalent combination of work experience may be considered.
Minimum five (5) years industry experience required - logistics environment with International and Domestic experience.
Minimum three (3) years supervisory or managerial experience required.
Valid Driver's License required
Proven experience managing a full P & L, required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel).
Able to perform all aspects of Domestic and International Operations including: customer service, dispatch, cargo and etc.
Ability to organize and perform multiple assignments in a high-volume, fast-work environment.
Ability to interact, communicate and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, customers in all levels of management.
Proven ability to lead and manage the activities of a diverse workforce.

Overview
The Carrier Sales Representative II will develop and own strategic relationships with a portfolio of carriers who support AIT's network of external and internal customers. The primary role of the Carrier Sales Representative II will be to procure capacity and build deep relationships with our carrier partners. Additionally work to optimize carriers' needs within AIT's freight mix while ensuring performance, communication, and integrity are kept at the highest standards.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain long-term, strategic relationships with a defined portfolio of carriers
Prospect qualified carriers by conducting daily sourcing calls in order to secure consistent truck capacity, who must meet meet AIT TS compliance guidelines to expand capacity options in specific modes or geography
Collaborate with Account Executives and Account Managers to source opportunities to strategically match available carrier equipment to AIT customer needs
Negotiate rates with transportation providers at or below current market rates
Partner with Carrier decision makers to align strategies to benefit both organizations
Develop, implement, and manage dedicated capacity solutions for AIT Truckload customers
Lead monthly business reviews with top carriers and regularly monitor carrier performance to address deficiencies urgently with corrective action plans
Ensure all shipments are tracked daily
Drive automation across carrier portfolio (GPS, ELD, EDI)
Communicate accessorial charges to Account Management team in a timely manner to ensure approval and maximum revenue per load as needed
Suggest improvements in procedures that will increase efficiency, develop profit and better serve our customers
Communicate with internal teammates on the status of their loads as needed
Provide guidance and training to less experienced Carrier Sales Reps
