Implements the discipline plan in accordance with the school and diocesan policy.
Maintains student confidentiality.
Provides for the care of school property, equipment, and materials and reports and damage, issues, or problems to the building principal.
Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
Performs all other duties reasonably related to position as may be assigned by Building Administrator or Superintendent.
Additional Duties
Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal.

Must be familiar with the use of computers.
Establish and maintain effective and courteous working relationships with those contacted in the course of work (students, parents, and staff).
Ability to communicate to students, parents, and staff in an acceptable/courteous manner.
Ability to understand instructions, concepts, and underlying principles.
Ability to understand meanings of words and ideas associated with them, and to transfer understandings to individuals and groups as necessary.
Ability to perform manual functions easily.
Experience
Successful prior teaching or substitute teacher experience preferred.
