Additionally, he was a founder and is a Board Member of both Travel Sciences, Inc., a software application developer for the travel industry and IM Interactive Corp., a technology company that specializes in commercial instant messaging. Mark Hatten was the Chairman/CEO of KSI Inc., an E-911 location company. KSI was awarded several patents for the angle of arrival method of location by triangulation of cellular telephones. In 2000, KSI was sold to TruePosition, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liberty Media. Prior to KSI, Mark Hatten founded Connecticut Telephone & Communications Systems, Inc. and was its Chairman and CEO until the company was acquired in 1998.
