Brenda Nevidjon, RN, MSN, FAAN is Chief Executive Officer of the Oncology Nursing Society, a professional organization of more than 37,000 member. She is Professor Emerita at Duke University School of Nursing where she taught in the Nursing and Healthcare Leadership specialty. She has been a leader in service and education settings and her career is distinguished by her being the first nurse and first woman to be chief operating officer of Duke University Hospital.
