Responsibilities Peraton requires a Deployed Systems Support Engineer to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM. This position is located on Camp Lejeune, NC. Supports the cloud and virtualized resources hosted on the hyperconverged/edge-based deployed system (e.g., VMWare, Azure Stack, AWS Outpost, etc.). Provides technical assistance and training to end users and contractors. Updates/maintains Commercial Solutions for Classified, wireless (NIPR, SIPR and Gray), Executive Comms Kits, Certification Authority Management, etc. Designs, configures, and supports the hosted resources on the deployed system, including virtualized computers (VMs), serverless computer instances, virtualized storage, virtualized networking and other services. The Senior Specialist, Systems Engineering - Network Engineer (NE) performs technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation, and troubleshooting for total systems and/or subsystems.
