Minimum Qualifications for GS-08
Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service that included experience such as:
* Maintaining and reviewing docket files.
* Collecting and analyzing data from law enforcement databases.
* Researching detainee history using multiple sources to establish identity and citizenship.
* Coordinating escorts and transportation associated with deportation or removal activities.
* Reviewing bond cases to determine status and taking appropriate action to continue, cancel, or breach.
Typing Requirement
In addition to meeting the minimum qualification requirements, you must show possession of the ability to type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample, with three or fewer errors. You may self-certify your proficiency in the Occupational Questionnaire.

Prepare all attendance reports-daily, weekly, six weeks attendance balance reports.
Principal's term report (yearly); train and supervise PBX operators.

Check and record one period absences on summary sheet through campus procedures.
Determine whether absence is excused or unexcused and note for computer.
File attendance folders at end of each period; work with social worker and community liaison concerning students with poor attendance record.
Prepare summons for social worker.

Accept and be responsible for delivery of personal belongings brought to students by parents.

Assist the registrar and social worker in tracking students who have withdrawn but have not enrolled in another public school as per the Leaver Code System.
