* Maintains custodial equipment by cleaning, oiling, and/or adjusting machine to assure maximum use.
* Empties waste baskets and trash cans from rooms and offices throughout the hospital.
* Keeps restrooms in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.
* Cleans various areas such as in-patient rooms, bathrooms, public restrooms, operating rooms, labor & delivery rooms, exam rooms, isolation rooms, pharmacy, emergency room, lab, x-ray, halls, walls, floors, furnishings, equipment, windows, offices, entrances, etc., wiping surfaces using proper cleaning techniques, universal precautions, and chemicals.

Qualifications
Regulatory & Educational Requirements:
Highschool Diploma or GED; College education Associates or Bachelor preferred.
Minimum 1 year management/supervisory experience; preferably in a medical setting.
Good knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, third party payers.
Working knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA and HFAP standards and regulations
Understanding of regulatory guidelines for outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation services.
Language Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Excellent communication skills.
