· Hold or restrain pets during examination, treatment, or inoculation.
· Prepare routine in-house laboratory tests (e.g. canine heartworm, feline leukemia, FIV, and canine parvovirus) as allowed by state rules and regulations.
· Monitor the comfort of hospitalized patients. Ensure the comfort of hospitalized patients by "walking", exercising, feeding, and cleaning cages and pet (when approved by the veterinarian or veterinary technician).
· Bathe and dip pets when necessary to treat dermatological conditions (when advised by veterinarian or veterinary technician.
· Clean the surgical suite and instruments.
· Ensure cleanliness of the hospital including but not limited to housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, mopping, cage cleaning, trash collection and removal and instrument cleaning as outlined by hospital protocols
· Other job duties as assigned.

Organization Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

Position Responsibilities:
Review/discuss shift change report every shift change
Regularly review client logbook and update client logbook for client observations
Completion of assigned tasks on daily schedule
Transport clients in Gaiser Center vehicles
Food Preparation for clients
Intake and log client's belongings upon arrival
Monitor clients both at the facility and off the premises while on your shift
Process new clients using new client check-in sheet
Administer testing to clients upon admission and/or as directed by nurse/counselor
Monitor and log client medication usage in accordance with the agency's self-medication administration policy
Attending and participate in staff meetings, conferences, staff development trainings, etc.
Regularly perform checks on client rooms and redirects clients as needed
Monitor daily client ADL performance and assist in weekly big clean group
Clean client rooms and wash linens (night shift) following discharge (coordinate w/ other shifts)

Educational Background and Work Experience

A Wheelchair Assistant works at an airport facility and provides assistance to passengers traveling in wheelchairs.

Push wheelchair passengers to and from gates
Roll customer-occupied wheelchair safely down the jet bridge
Ensure wheel brakes are in place prior to allowing passengers to exit the wheelchair
Complete any necessary wheelchair or incident reports
Follow dispatcher gate orders
Maintains a friendly and positive attitude and is attentive to each passenger's individual needs; by assisting passenger with any problems, questions, or concerns
Maintain professional working relationships with fellow employees, supervisors, managers, airline employees, and airport authorities
Exceed customer service standards
Carry out other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Pay Rate: $15.00 Per Hour plus Tips
Must be at least 18 years of age
Be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to clear a background and drug screen
Must be able to lift up to up to 75 lbs and push a loaded wheelchair up to 300lbs up and down inclines throughout the shift
Ability to lift passengers from the wheelchair to the seat on the plane
Experience in customer service preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Complete all required training including airport compliance
Able to obtain an airport badge

Employees are expected at all times to present a professional business-like image, even when working behind the scenes. It is the policy of the Company that each employee's dress, grooming, and personal hygiene should be appropriate to the work situation and be consistent with the Company's business standards.

What you will do
Gathers orders for shipment in accordance with company specialty guidelines.

Collects information pertaining to restocking of packing stations with shipping supplies to ensure sufficient resources are allocated.
Composes sorting order forms based on courier and class of service to ensure information is clear.
Monitors unlocking stations, trains new operations assistants, and scans data multi-piece handling.
Follows workflow, orders packing supplies and performs monthly audits when applicable.
Gathers pharmacy files and records in accordance with internal procedures to ensure organizational standards of the company are met.

Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills
Valid state pharmacy technician or technician trainee license. If not yet licensed, must be able to provide proof of application
