Assistant Coach, Womens Soccer
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for assisting the Head Soccer Coach in the management and administration of all phases of a successful Division I intercollegiate Soccer program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists with the athletic education/instruction, development/training and evaluation of student-athletes.
Assists with coaching responsibilities during athletic related activities (e.g., practices, competitions, etc.).
Assists with the search/recruitment of quality prospective student-athletes.
Works with Head Coach to establish and communicate team rules and regulations regarding, but not limited to, academic, athletic and social expectations/guidelines.
Works closely with the Office of Academic Support (OAS) to ensure student-athletes progress towards graduation.
Works closely with Sports Medicine staff and team physicians to ensure the safety and health of student-athletes.
Works closely with Sports Performance staff to develop a comprehensive sports performance program.
Assists the Head Coach with media and public relations matters including, but not limited to, fulfilling speaking engagements, attending community events and participating in television and radio interviews and new conferences.
Assists the Head Coach with fundraising-related matters including, but not limited to, attending Cowboy Joe Club events/functions, meeting with donors and working with the Cowboy Joe Club Director/Director of Athletics to cultivate potential donors.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of and adheres to all applicable University, conference and NCAA rules and regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Nature and Scope of Job: The purpose of the Daycare (child care) Assistant is to assist and cooperate in a supportive role and provide the highest quality of supervision in a safe and healthy learning environment for all children. Follow a consistent schedule, which may include small and large group experiences, work time, music and movement, large and small motor activities, skill development, meals and effective transitions between activities.
Assist the daycare director/principal in maintaining a comprehensive and ongoing portfolio assessment for each child, including weekly/daily observations in each area, examples of the child's food, play, and a developmental assessment.
Set goals for each child's individual development and to document/discuss progress.
Document attendance and all activities and submit to the appropriate staff, any prescribed forms consistently, correctly, and promptly.
Complete and submit required forms and records in a timely and accurate fashion; daily schedule, time approvals, meal reports, etc.
Feed, eat with, and assist children in development of social and self-help skills, and sound nutritional practices.
Guide children's acquisition of social skills.

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, assists in day-to-day operations of the School of Health Science (Nursing, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Phlebotomy, and Medical Terminology) manages specific program activities, and coordinates services provided to students, clinical agencies, and outreach sites. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR WHICH THIS INDIVIDUAL IS ACCOUNTABLE
1. Performs office assistant duties for the School Chair/Director, and faculty members in meeting the needs of the health care programs by providing and/or coordinating office activities.
2. Promotes good public relations for the programs by receiving visitors, students, prospective students, faculty and staff; handles telephone, email, and in person inquires.
3. Fields requests and concerns efficiently and timely in a positive manner; independently resolves as many as possible; and transfer others to the chair/director/faculty.
4. Assumes responsibility for the compilation, typing, formatting, copying and/or processing of correspondence and program forms.
5. Organizes exam scheduling. Coordinates multiple testing sites. Ensures passwords are sent to appropriate locations. Ensures proctoring agreements are in place and up-to-date.
6. Coordinates pre-entrance testing on campus and in outreach sites.
7. Creates and maintains a database for prospective nursing students. Works closely with Admissions and Advising and outreach sites to assure prospective students are in database and notified of online application availability and processes.
8. Coordinates and compiles student applications for qualification and ranking.
9. Assists with CNA and phlebotomy entrance requirements.
10. Coordinates student program onboarding and tracking of clinical requirements.
11. Assists coordinators with clinical onboarding. Provides attestation letters and other documents required by each clinal facilities each semester.
12. Maintains and manages confidential student records to meet program and clinical agency requirements.
13. Assists in assuring all publications for the programs are current, accurate, and consistent to meet accreditation requirements. Distributes publications to appropriate parties including web page.
14. Assures faculty credentialing and clinical requirements are current. Coordinates with School Chair to maintain SPOL for the programs, including updating certifications of faculty.
15. Works with director and coordinators on various surveys each semester: updating, distributing, and tracking.
16. Assists programs in gathering data for the Accreditation Processes.
17. Coordinates preparation for accreditation reports and site visits.
18. Assists the director with compiling annual reports to the Wyoming State Board of Nursing (WSBN) and the national nursing accreditation agencies.
19. Assists the CNA and phlebotomy faculty with compiling reports to the accrediting and licensing bodies.
20. Assists with publicity of program offerings and admission process locally and in outreach sites.
21. Maintains database of all clinical agencies, updates clinical agency contracts, submits contract to Vice President for signature.
22. Assists with the organization and scheduling of meetings. Records and maintains minutes from advisory board, school, and department meetings.
23. Supervises student worker.
24. Assists Nursing department in preparation of the pinning ceremony.

Promote safety and independence

Follow care plans accurately and adjust your approach to meet each client's daily needs.
Maintain accurate documentation
Use the electronic caregiver mobile app to clock in/out, record completed tasks, and update client notes in a timely and detailed manner.

Communicate clearly with families, supervisors, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
Respond to schedule updates and care plan changes with professionalism and reliability.

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
