Qualifications Required
8+ years of hands‑on Workday technical experience, including 3+ years of team management.
Proven expertise with Workday HCM, Talent, Learning, and Recruiting modules, including Reporting, Dashboards & Security.
Deep knowledge of Workday's integration frameworks, including Workday, EIB, Core Connectors, and APIs.
Preferred
Workday certifications in one or more relevant modules (e.g., HCM, Talent, Recruiting).
Familiarity with Workday PRISM Analytics, Worksheets, or similar tools.
Experience with other systems such as ADP, SAP Concur, or ServiceNow.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $130,000 - $194,000. Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full‑time positions or part‑time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible benefits that support their health and well‑being including health, dental, and vision insurance, and a company‑sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or‑term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.

Duties and Responsibilities
Teach college success, career, and personal development courses.
Provide comprehensive counseling services to students, including academic, career, and personal counseling on a drop‑in and appointment basis.
Assist students in clarifying their educational goals, developing Student Educational Plans (SEPs), and selecting courses.
Collaborate with instructional and counseling faculty, staff, and special programs such as First Year Experience, CalWORKS, CARE, DSPS, and EOPS to maximize student success.
Participate in the implementation of transfer and matriculation activities at the college.
Participate in outreach activities and events in campus classrooms, local high schools, adult schools, and community agencies.
Provide follow‑up services to students on probation and dismissal status.
Utilize and keep abreast of advanced counseling methods, integrating technology to support student learning and career objectives.

Knowledge of:
The matriculation process as it applies to California Community Colleges.
Counseling and student development theories and relevant applications to program development.
University articulation agreements and transfer requirements for counseling community college students.

Providing short‑term personal counseling to students from diverse backgrounds.
Maintaining student counseling notes in a timely and effective manner.

Counseling at a California community college.
Job Requirements
Master's or above in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling. OR the equivalent (see below). A bachelor's degree in one of the listed degrees plus a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) is an alternative qualification.
Demonstrated cultural competence, sensitivity to, and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, ethnic, neurodivergent, and LGBTQIA+ backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff in equity‑minded practice both within and outside of the classroom.
