Responsibilities: - Conduct patient interviews and perform physical examinations - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies - Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions - Prescribe medications and provide appropriate treatments - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans - Educate patients on preventive healthcare practices and disease management - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program - Current certification as a Physician Assistant - Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to accurately document patient encounters - Proficiency in data collection and analysis for clinical research purposes - Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology - Experience in occupational health, including conducting pre-employment physicals and managing work-related injuries - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment - Commitment to providing high-quality patient care - MUST SPEAK ENGLISH, SPANISH, OR CREOLE - BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO MIAMI AND BROWARD COUNTY Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
