As Chairman and CEO, Scott Silk provides Astadia’s vision and direction. Working with our executive team and business leaders, Scott sets our business agenda, implements strategy and guides our growth efforts. Scott joined Astadia in 2016, bringing three decades of experience and noteworthy success as a leader in the technology space. Most recently, Scott was President and CEO of SeeWhy, a Massachusetts-based leader in real-time marketing and business intelligence solutions company acquired by SAP in 2015. Previously, Scott was President and CEO of Action Engine Corp. where he established the company’s mobile application platform as a leader in the market and led the company’s eventual sale to Mobui Corp. Before that, he was General Manager at ePresence and helped establish the company as a leader in the Identity Management segment, increased shareholder value by more than 100 percent, and was instrumental in the sale of the company’s security and identity management services to Unisys Corp. Among other roles, Scott also served as President of North American Operations and Vice President of Worldwide Marketing for Gentia Software, Inc. where he helped double the company’s North American software revenues to $20 million. Scott received a bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing from The Max M. Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University and his MBA from Baldwin Wallace University.

Laura K. Ipsen is president and chief executive officer of Ellucian. Laura has more than 25 years of experience as a technology executive, working to drive transformation in the public and private sectors and spur adoption of comprehensive solutions in high-growth industries. Laura joined Ellucian from Oracle Corporation, where she most recently served as general manager and senior vice president for Oracle Marketing Cloud-leading all customer-facing aspects of the business, including sales, account management, marketing, and customer services. Previously, she served as corporate vice president of Microsoft’s worldwide public sector organization, where she led a team of more than 2,000 sales and marketing professionals serving government, education, and non-privatized healthcare customers in more than 100 countries. Laura’s experience also includes more than a decade at Cisco Systems, where she led an effort to transform how the world manages energy supplies and build smart-grid solutions for utilities around the world. Prior to that, she established and managed Cisco’s global policy and government affairs division, where she led the company’s public policy agenda as it related to the Internet and global adoption of broadband access. Laura has also held leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Acer America, and Hitachi Data Systems. Laura previously served as a member of the board of directors of Monsanto from 2010 until 2018 when it was acquired by Bayer and is a former chair of the board of the Washington, D.C.-based Information Technology Industry Council. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Woodrow Wilson School of Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia and studied Arabic at Yarmouk University in Jordan. She is also a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum, Silicon Valley Chapter.

Russ is a 25+ year tech, sales, product and branding executive. His hi-tech background ranges from start-up ventures to Fortune 500 giants like Oracle and his first programming job at Mobil Oil. Russ has managed high-growth global organizations that have transformed industries and consistently drives customer-centric performance and product innovation at scale. Leveraging his technical background combined with his successful sales and cloud industry knowledge, Russ has the unique ability to drive global growth while maintaining a diverse, fun, and strong work culture. Prior to Infrascale, Russ led OVHcloud’s growth into the US. OVHcloud US successfully launched in the US, acquired vCloud Air from VMware and built two additional data centers to bring the total to 30 data centers globally. Russ also led the premium cloud hosting company, MediaTemple (mt), where he was responsible for the company’s global sales growth, brand, strategic direction, culture, and operational execution. Russ helped lead the sale of MediaTemple (mt) to GoDaddy where he stayed on the GoDaddy executive team to help transform GoDaddy and prepare for their IPO. Throughout his career and his life beyond business, Russ has been an attentive student of innovation that drives change. He continues to hone and apply a leadership philosophy first inspired by his grandfather and then his professional mentors. Russ holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems, Computer Decision Support Systems from James Madison University’s College of Business, and has completed the HBS President’s Program in Leadership (PPL) from Harvard Business School.

Adam Park is a Chief Executive Officer at Softdocs and Vice President, Go to Market Strategy at Liaison International and is based in Oakland, California. He has worked as Vice President, Sales and Marketing at EXPONENT INC; Chief Operating Officer at Beyond 12; and Director, Implementation Services at Embark. Adam attended University of California - UC Berkeley and Stanford Graduate School of Business.
