Job Purpose
The Sanitation Supervisor is responsible for leading the implementation and execution of the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program throughout the manufacturing plant. This position is the technical liaison between the plant, Headquarters, sanitation chemical company, and third-party sanitation provider (where applicable).
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Participate in the Kraft Heinz Golden Rules process, support all internal/external audits related to Golden Rules and assist in the development of procedures/corrective actions for Golden Rules.
Oversee and lead the implementation of the KHMS (FSQ Pillar) Sanitation system and operational standards as outlined in the factory accountability list in order to achieve targeted maturity score.
Provide leadership and training for production personnel to complete production line and facility sanitation as required by the Master Sanitation Schedule, Daily Tasks, Maintenance Work Schedule, and Production Schedule.
Technical liaison between factory personnel, sanitation chemical supplier, Corporate FSQ, Sanitation/Pest Control, and third-party sanitation/pest control and organic waste provider (where applicable).
Create a safe working environment for personnel working in sanitation, maintain chemical safety procedures and MSDS's, work with chemical supplier to provide chemical handling training, provide leadership in enhancing chemical training beyond what chemical supplier provides, and meet all requirements of Kraft Heinz Environmental, Health, and Safety program.
Create a structured, orderly chemical storage and sanitation supply area in the factory.
Review the effectiveness of the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program on an annual basis for effectiveness and provide continuous improvement for the program at the factory level.
Ensure compliance with the Global Cleaning and Sanitation Manual, Pest Control Standard, Hygienic Design Standard, and Building and Fabric Maintenance Standard.
Manage the internal Cleaning and Sanitation Audit Program to ensure compliance to the Kraft Heinz Sanitation Program
Manage the internal Pest Control Program for the Fort Myers facility, including coordinating annual pest control fogging events for the facility with the 3rd party Pest Control Provider.
Initiate and execute cleaning verification and validation programs to prove effectiveness of Sanitation program.
Manage and evaluate the Sanitation staff including but not limited to performance management and employee development, etc.
Pro-actively manage the Environmental Management System (EMS) to support Corporate environmental policy (storm water, wastewater, SPCC, waste reduction) ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements as well as routine sampling and inspections.
Ensure Environmental Permits are up to date by routinely reviewing and submitting permit documentation renewals as required.
Conduct the monthly sampling, analysis and report submittal of the plant's wastewater program results while ensuring compliance to the City of Fort Myers Pre-Treatment requirements and effluent limitations.
Develop and manage the Sanitation department's operating budget including the inventorying of cleaning chemicals; cleaning supplies and plant consumables.
Oversee the entire waste program for Ft. Myers including by-products, recycles, universal waste, hazardous waste, etc.
