KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
QMS Related:

Lead training activities for QMS related items within the Russells Point, Ohio facility.
Support the NA Quality Committee for the development and implementation of the Honda North American Quality Manual and supplements as the Russells Point, Ohio facility Lead.

What you will do: Under general direction and within division policies and procedures, designs, develops and implements tests and statistical control procedures to achieve quality specifications for manufacturing processes to support our internal and external customers.

How you will do it:
* Internally support communication of Customer Specific Requirements verification that customer specific requirements are fulfilled (i.e. PPAP documentation, Testing, PTR, etc.).
* Develop strong relationships and develop communication strategies with customer teams that facilitate positive interactions based on professional and timely responses.
* Facilitate internal cross functional alignment on Clarios direction and customer responses on quality topics.
* Lead problem solving initiatives for quality and warranty reduction.
* Work with Operations and cross functional teams in generation of communication packages required for customer report outs.
* Review, challenge and simplify existing, develop, and apply quality driven test systems and procedures to assure products meet intended use and customer expectations.
* Provide technical and quality expertise to support Key Programs focus on risk mitigation (PFMEA, Control Plan and Inspection Standards, etc)
* Trains and mentor other team members in the development of procedures and processes.
* Support the development of policies and BOS procedures to ensure the quality of work in all disciplines
* Serve as a strong lead to ensure robust quality processes and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 & IATF 16949 (internal & external audits, CAPA system, MOC adherence)
* Conduct analysis of process data using various statistical tools/methodology to assess linkages of product / process characteristics to Quality Metrics.

About the Role
This position is responsible for providing necessary leadership and training to the Quality Inspection Group consisting of Inspectors. The position will interpret company policies and enforce company rules and meet company targets within the position.
Follow all food and personal safety rules and regulations in respect to GMP's, OSHA, HACCP, the Global Food Safety Initiative, the site SQF program as stated in the FS&Q Policy, HSE, and sanitation guidelines as set forth by the company.
