**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Working in line with Cupertino's core values, the person in this role will work closely with manufacturing on first piece, in-process, and final inspection. Will monitor supply base and in-house processes for product conformance. Will issue, track, and verify corrective actions requested from internal or customer, and issued to our supply base.
The role involves developing an Equipment Log using various forms, one-lines, drawings, BOMs, etc., and identifying OFCI (Owner Furnished Contractor Installed) equipment to ensure its proper documentation. Responsibilities include tracking the receipt of proper OFCI, maintaining a tracking document, and coordinating with Materials, Quality, Production, and Project Management groups upon receipt. You will act as a liaison to the project management group to ensure clients are informed about what has and hasn't been received, prepare receiving reports, and coordinate with the NETA testing group to prioritize their testing sequence. Additionally, the position involves completing clients' prescribed notification systems such as Procore, ACC, BIM, etc., tracking equipment through the assembly process to ensure proper usage, and ensuring that equipment will work in the process as designed (e.g., stub-ups, openings). A key expectation is to be a team player and professionally vocal as issues arise.
**Knowledge:** Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
**Job Complexity:** Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
**Supervision:** Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
**ABOUT YOU**
+ Proficient in reading drawings, blueprints, one-lines to identify equipment as called out on these documents
+ Journeyman level electrical knowledge or experience
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office
+ Must be able to pass PIT licensing test
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**

**Education:** High School Diploma or GED required.
**Experience:** 3+ years' experience in manufacturing or construction. Minimum 3 yrs. in a quality role

+ Mostly in assembly plant however, traveling to vendors which may be loud and/or dirty, is possible
+ May be required to sit/stand at desk/computer, and/or walk the production floor for extended time
+ May be required to work on job site in all kind of weather
+ Hard Hat, Gloves, Safety Glasses and appropriate foot ware (supplier or job site-Safety toe)

Maintain and organize quality logs, including Nonconforming Material (NCM) records, Returned Material Authorization (RMA) records, and scrap tracking logs.
Assist in monitoring scrap trends and providing relevant inspection data to production.
Track and maintain the calibration status of measuring tools and equipment.
Participate in internal audits to verify compliance with established procedures, quality standards, and customer requirements.
Assist with quality documentation activities such as PPAPs or first article inspections, when needed.
Support training efforts by helping production employees understand quality standards and proper inspection methods.
Participate in problem-solving activities to help identify root causes of quality issues and support corrective actions.
Work independently to perform inspections, maintain logs, and resolve routine quality issues with limited on-site supervision.
Communicate end-of-shift updates, nonconformances, and outstanding issues to the incoming shift and QC leadership.
Coordinate with operators and supervisors to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the shift.
Provide flexible inspection support across multiple production departments as required.
Maintain knowledge of quality standards and best practices through training and professional development.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, and steel toed work boots or shoes.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at 40+ hours per week. Days and hours of work will be determined by management. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday eight (8) hours per day. Occasional overtime, evening and weekend work may be required to meet business demands.
Compensation
Our current hiring pay range for this position is $21.00-$26.25 per hour.. This hiring pay range is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience, knowledge, skills and certifications.
In addition to this base pay, Rockford Ball Screw employees are eligible for a bonus. Depending on your position you may be categorized into different tiers in the quarterly or annual bonus plan. Currently, this position is classified as a Quarterly Bonus within the Individual Contributor tier.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds and seldom lifting to 75lbs. Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle and/or adjust equipment. Moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to safety glasses, and steel toed work boots or shoes.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at 40+ hours per week. Days and hours of work will be determined by management. Typical schedule is Monday through Friday eight (8) hours per day. Occasional overtime, evening and weekend work may be required to meet business demands.
Compensation
Our current hiring pay range for this position is $21.00-$26.25 per hour.. This hiring pay range is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience, knowledge, skills and certifications.
In addition to this base pay, Rockford Ball Screw employees are eligible for a bonus. Depending on your position you may be categorized into different tiers in the quarterly or annual bonus plan. Currently, this position is classified as a Quarterly Bonus within the Individual Contributor tier.

Quality Tech
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our client's Quality Control Team. As a member of the QA Team, you will perform routine bacteriological and chemical testing of product. This is a team-driven environment requiring working with other departments to ensure standards are met.
Hours: 6am to 6pm 2/2/3 Schedule
Pay: $23-$25/hour DOE

QA Tech Responsibilities:
Maintain control of all original Quality documents
Ensure accuracy of Quality policies and procedures on an ongoing basis
Test all products for physical, chemical, and bacteriological standards
Accurately interpret and record testing results
Review production paperwork for accuracy and traceability
Prepare product samples for customers and outside testing laboratories
Ensure problems are brought to the QA Manager's attention
Assist QA Manager in food safety audits and SOP reviews
Other document or lab related duties as assigned
QA Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred within Food Science, Safety or Quality Management.
1+ years in a quality role within a manufacturing facility preferred
At least 1 year food production experience
Ability to read, analyze and interpret quality assurance documents and compliance regulations
Ability to write reports, policies and procedures
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions concerning quality issues
Ability to calculate figures and amounts related to quality
General understanding of usage, maintenance and calibration of all lab equipment

What You will do - Experienced Quality Technician
Lead quality control activities, including inspection, release, and nonconformance root cause analysis for our products
Execute and improve quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and continuous improvement (CI) processes
Collaborate with facility, functional, and quality teams to drive process excellence
Perform in-process, first article, PPAP, and customer-defined inspections
Participate in customer-focused responsiveness to quality issues
Work with peers to develop and implement systemic quality and process improvements
Take on other exciting duties as assigned
Requirements
2+ years of experience in an ISO9001 manufacturing or aviation/space/defense (AS9100) environment, required
Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience with ERP systems for data entry and report analysis
Project management skills or willingness to develop them
Meticulous record-keeping and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Creative problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
Blueprint reading and measurement system expertise
American Society for Quality certifications (CQT, CQA, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt) are a plus

Job DescriptionQuality Technician: Dakota, IllinoisOur customer in Dakota, Illinois is seeking detail-oriented and technically skilled individuals to join their quality team. We're recruiting Quality Technicians with flexible availability to work a rotating 2/2/3 schedule. This full-time role is essential to ensuring that all products meet strict food safety and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities of the Quality Technician:
Perform food quality checks in the lab including pH, moisture, salt content, and viscosities using a Boswick meter
Conduct appearance, flavor, aroma, texture, and mouthfeel testing
Use the NCI chart and Colorimeter to measure color variation
Perform seamer checks with CCTV Monitor for packaging quality (height, body hook, overlap, tightness, countersink)
Conduct drain weight checks and ATC testing before production runs
Execute floor quality checks to ensure compliance throughout operations
Verify production paperwork and charts are completed correctly
Communicate with Production Supervisors/Staff regarding GMP and policy violations
Confirm label, case code, sticker, and pallet pattern accuracy
Monitor x-ray and tap tone systems for safety and compliance
Inspect package pressure/vacuum and measure headspace/pull-up using rulers
Order and verify Gold Standard samples
Generate NCPs and place non-conforming product on hold with QC status in Ross Syste
Perform cleanliness and equipment pre-op inspections
Quality Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required (experience may be accepted in lieu of education)
Prior quality experience in the beverage or manufacturing industry (highly preferred)
Ability to handle high-demand situations and multitask effectively
Strong math and computer skills
Fluent in written and verbal English
Must be available to work any shift for initial 3-week training
Pay for Quality Technician: $18.00 - $23.00/hour
PM Shift Differential: Additional $1.00/hour Quality Technician Benefits:
