This position is responsible for acting as the liaison between the client, the agent, and the examiners by answering the telephone, researching questions, and providing appropriate answers in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
* Researches, answers, follows up and tracks client, agent, and field questions appropriately and in a timely manner. This includes, but is not limited to, giving out specimen requirements, requesting additional tests and providing reports. Documents all calls and submits problem or difficult calls to the manager. Coordinates activities between client services, the agent, and the client. This includes scheduling applicants with an examiner or at a PSC site and communication agents, applicants and examiners.
* Conducts in center exams which include taking basic vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKG. Also collects specimens for pre-employment drug screenings and other Quest Diagnostics services.
* Responds to the needs and requests of clients and Quest Diagnostics management and staff in a professional and expedient manner.
* Observes all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Quest Diagnostics Safety Manual or safety matters included in other special training.

About the Team:
The Brentwood, Tn., Flow Cytometry Validation team includes a team of 7 scientists, 13 validation specialists, and a host of other scientifically savvy support personnel, many of which have worked together for greater than 20 years. We provide flow cytometric standardization, harmonization and validation for assays that are supported in the global central flow laboratories to track drug efficacy, safety and pharmacodynamic outputs.
Internship Assignment Summary: Sample Stabilization Investigation for Extended Shipments or Storage.
Stabilize whole blood samples according to several methods
Process stabilized samples according to different flow cytometry protocols intended to evaluate multiple cellular phenotypes
Learn how to utilize flow cytometers to acquire samples
Deconvolute data into digestible information using a variety of statistical tools
Determine an optimal stabilization technique that will be further validated across multiple donors
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Working towards bachelor's degree in either Biology, Immunology, or Biochemistry
Has experience using micropipettes and handling biological samples
Previous experience using flow cytometers or staining samples according to flow cytometry protocols is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues.

The PSR III - Site Lead draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR III - Site Lead will direct daily activity at a Patient Service Center (PSC) or In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP) and leads more than one PSR on site. The PSR III - Site Lead can provide coverage at multiple locations for multiple roles. The PSR III - Site Lead must ensure that daily activities of the Patient Service Center/Mobile/Long Term Care/In-Office Phlebotomy are completed accurately and on time. The PSR III - Site Lead demonstrates Quest Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Successful applicants may be assigned to work and direct daily activity in a doctor's office, a patient service center, in a house call environment, long-term care or as business needs dictate. The PSR III - Site Lead draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. Responsibilities:
* Collect specimens according to established procedures. This includes, but not limited to: drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams.
* Administer oral solutions according to established training.
* Research test/client information and confirm and verify all written and electronic orders by utilizing lab technology systems or directory of services.
* Responsible for completing all data entry requirements accurately including data entry of patient registration; entry of test order from req or pulling order from database; managing Standing Orders.
* Enter billing information and collect payments when required, including the safeguarding of assets and credit card information.
* Data entry and processing specimens including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing specimens as required by test order.
* Perform departmental-related clerical duties when assigned such as data entry, inventory, stock supplies, and answer phones when needed.

About the Team:
The Brentwood, Tn., Flow Cytometry Validation team includes a team of 7 scientists, 13 validation specialists, and a host of other scientifically savvy support personnel, many of which have worked together for greater than 20 years. We provide flow cytometric standardization, harmonization and validation for assays that are supported in the global central flow laboratories to track drug efficacy, safety and pharmacodynamic outputs.
Internship Assignment Summary: Conversion of Current Flow Quantitation Standard to New NIST Traceable Standard for Ongoing Studies.
Learn how to utilize flow cytometers to acquire quantitative bead standards both current and new methods as well as phenotyping samples.
Deconvolute data into digestible information using a variety of statistical tools.
Determine a Correlation Factor for new standards to ensure global, longitudinal combinability of results in ongoing clinical trial assays to correlate current and new method.
Devise a training, implementation and communication plan for new method.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
Working towards bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics or Biostatistics

**LabCorp seeking a Service Representative/Courier to join our team in** **Nashville** **,** **TN.** **In this position, you will be responsible for the pickup, transport and delivery of medical specimens, lab supplies and reports, while providing excellent service to our clients.**
**Schedule:** Monday-Friday 11:30am-8pm
**Location:** Nashville, TN
**OPTIONAL: Included with this position is a company vehicle to use for the route. In addition, for only $100 per month, you will have the option of taking this vehicle home with you and using it for personal use. If you choose to use the company vehicle for personal use all gas, tolls and maintenance are covered by the company.**
**Requirements:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
+ Must have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
+ Must be at least 21 years' old
+ Previous driver/courier experience is preferred
+ Customer service experience is a plus
+ Very punctual with strong time management skills
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
+ Ability to problem solve customer issues
+ Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
**Job Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Load all necessary suppliers needed for the daily pickups
+ Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
+ Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
+ Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
+ Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
+ Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
+ Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
+ Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed
