Job Announcement This position works within the Property Section of the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, and performs a variety of activities including inventorying, issuing, and storing of inmate property, assisting the Property Officer with changing inmates into and out of jail clothing, delivering inmate legal mail and publications and notarizing inmate documents. Correctional rechnicians also support the Fairfax Adult Detention Center citizen help desk and answer inquiries from the public. These positions also assist the Confinement Squads and other sections as needed. Note: This is a shiftwork position. Working holidays and weekends is an expectation.
