Pros of working at S.B. Cox

They give you the responsibility of being on your own and making good judgments pertaining to your job

Cons of working at S.B. Cox

While driving I found a American flag that had been on the ground I had stopped alongside on the shoulder of the road got the flag brought it back to SB Cox to the office and asked him can we fly this but I found on the ground can you fly this and can we support America I was told by the office that we should burn that flag a flag should be burned so I went to my supervisor who was an ex-marine like myself and I kind of like asked him I said they're trying to burn our flag Nathan he said do not worry about that he took the flag and took it into his office him being the next Marine I'm sure he respected American flag a lot of good men have died because of that flag and but the office personnel and it shows very diverse they don't like America so that's my negative part on that about SB Cox

S.B. Cox benefits

For me one of my perk benefits was that I could start at like 4:00 in the morning if I wanted to because my truck was loaded with trash that I was taking out to a landfill that SB Cox has owned and my start time minimum was at 6:00 but I usually started anywhere from 4:45 to 5:00 in the morning and got my first one in by the time I was done it was 3:00 so they gave me the the perks of getting off starting early and getting off early which was great I had just to make three runs a day which was very easy not a big problem within a 10-hour day overtime I had overtime if I wanted it making great paychecks they do have a great pay benefit program it's like I was making great money I hadn't made saving money in the figure of in a year and a half I was there I had saved five figures in the bank account after paying rent and car payments and everything else I was just a great place to work as far as money was concerned

What do you like best about S.B. Cox's CEO and the leadership team?

The owner Barbie Cox you would never know he's the owner you would see him in bib overalls smelling like cow manure because he's got himself a farm that that's what he did he enjoyed that and let the company snowball with the appropriate management teams in there there are some management people up in the office that was good I never some that were horrible terrible

How would you improve S.B. Cox's culture?

The company culture at SB Cox should be an emphasis on America first find those that need work and non-anti American things that are going on the people that are running the show tends to side with whatever's happening at the current status of America with the the end thing is happening at that time instead of Finding Your Roots of being an American before they're whatever benefit the thing is I just hard for me to explain but this new culture that is living up in here we need to get rid of that and we need to get back to our basic rules of being America First and taking care of an America's first before we take on any immigrants from any other country

How did you prepare for the S.B. Cox interview?

Filled out the application went in and talked to the driver manager and explain to him that I've had my CDL for multitude of years I don't mind working he's seen that I was looking for work and he was very outspoken and I seen he had a USMC tattoo and I said I was in the Marine Corps also so that kind of like maybe I guess you could say that he was biased towards me because I was an ex-marine also and we look out for each other and that was the same person that took the flag that I had brought off in there and said he will take care of it and I had not questioned that he would because I knew him being the next Marine he would have taken that flag and gave it the honor and the respect that it truly deserved

How does your compensation at S.B. Cox compare to the industry average?

I think I already touched upon the wage is with regards to the pay I was making very good money the only thing I can say about that is that it's they pay their companies they pay their employees good wages they want to keep on good employees up on there company that's what makes a company stronger good employees

What's the diversity at S.B. Cox like?

Being aversive I am one that is not a racist I am a conservative as long as people are working I work right alongside any race as long as they're respectful of the American values that we present and not wanting to burn the flag and disrespect America I'm an American first first and foremost if they have a lot of diversity near now it's been a while since I've worked there it's it's a sad State of Affairs that we're living in hopefully this coming up and it's 2025 in January when the new president takes over which I hope it ain't going to be a Democrat that I think will will do fine let's get a republican back in there

What brings you the most joy at S.B. Cox?

The most fulfilling part was the freedom they said this is what you've got to do and they said you're an adult that's all you have to do you just follow what you need to do and it was a repetitive everyday that was no changing of the venue maybe a different location but other than that everything was the same I didn't have to report into an officer or somebody in the office excuse me or an officer I knew exactly what my job could tell and I they gave me the respect to say he's old enough he can he can do everything that he needs to do he doesn't need a whole lot of supervision that was one thing I liked about my job they they gave me the leeway to come in within a certain amount of time frame to taking my trash from the location in Richmond all the way out into the Chesterfield County and just continue to do that without no serious supervision as long as I did what I was supposed to do that was not an issue the only time I had to call somebody was about a flat tire or there was a mechanical issue with the vehicle and that's pretty much it
