The Safety Manager is an integral part of our Environmental Health & Safety team based out of our US - Sarasota, FL site.
Compensation range for this position is $95,000.00 -$100,000.00
Position Details
The Safety Manager will develop and implement policies to ensure a safe and healthy work environment as well as advance environmentally sustainable activities. Also ensuring compliance with corporate, local, state and federal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
* Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspections.
* Develops health and safety procedures for all areas of the facility.
* Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
* Ensures compliance with safety and environmental procedures for OSHA, EPA, FLDEP, NFPA, and local requirements.
* Knowledgeable in OSHA's Injury and Illness recordkeeping and reporting requirements that include OSHA 300A form, Incident Rate and DART Rate.
* Knowledgeable in GHS Hazardous Communication Program for Safety Data Sheets and Labeling requirements.
* Participates in the EH&S Council Team chaired by Corporate EH&S
* Monthly safety inspections
