We are seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative to join our Des Moines team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying bid opportunities, cultivating customer relationships, and driving sales for a full range of access solutions. Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Business Development
Identify and pursue bid opportunities throughout the assigned sales territory.
Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, developers, mechanical contractors, manufacturers, architects, and government agencies.
Review and qualify incoming leads and document appropriate opportunities in Salesforce.
Sales & Customer Engagement
Understand customer needs and clearly communicate how products and services meet both current and future requirements.
Visit job sites to gather information required to prepare accurate pricing.
Estimating & Quoting
Collaborate with sales and construction managers to create equipment/material lists, estimate labor hours, determine job requirements (drug testing, orientations), and calculate freight.
Prepare formal quotes for customer submission.
Evaluate each bid for upsell opportunities across access product portfolio (QuikDeck, HAKI, mast climbers, elevators, shoring, loading docks, sidewalk protection, trash chutes, etc.).
Project Coordination & Administration
Support construction crews at job start-up to ensure seamless execution.
Work with the branch contracts manager to process new contracts through internal workflows.
Partner with project controls to ensure accurate, timely billing and capture change orders promptly.
Qualifications
Required:
Experience in scaffold/access system sales, especially projects involving labor and installation.
Proven background in cost estimating scaffold or work-access projects.
Hands-on experience using Salesforce in a construction-focused environment.
Prior construction industry experience.
Intermediate or better proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Direct field experience as a scaffold builder or foreman.
Background in engineering, drafting, or construction estimating.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Marketing, Sales, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities:
Initiate and follow up with customers and providers to sell or resolve problems, answer questions, correspondence and reports
Contacts current and prospective customers to sell and explain services and solicitation of new business within the market area
Deliver SEi new business revenues against quarterly targets
Build and manage pipeline against quarterly targets
Provide transparency to all activities via weekly and monthly reports
Create awareness of SEi solutions by creating new clients through cold calling and other marketing initiatives. Provide accurate quotes, proposals, references and sales solutions in a timely and appropriate fashion to derive revenue/sales
Maintain consistent achievement of personal performance standards
Create and maintain account strategies and plans where relevant, as requested by the sales manager
Maintain sufficient activity levels to consistently ensure pipeline growth, customer satisfaction and a demonstrable commitment to personal achievement
Create and maintain a network of key decision-makers within an account(s) and SEi

Attend sales seminars, sales meetings or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the marketplace

Requirements:

Promotes Coreslab and the precast industry, sells our products, systems and services and performs related work as required or assigned,
Estimates project costs and revenues from provided plans and bid packages by obtaining latest material, labor, and subcontract pricing and assigning quantities of such accordingly,
Manages projects to meet customer expectations and project specifications, including schedule and quality, and performs related work as required or assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Sales:
promote Coreslab Structures and the precast industry
assist the design and building communities in solving their construction challenges
market and showcase Coreslab success stories
bid information and requirements review, and transfer to estimating
obtain and track bid results for future bid analysis
