    The Tech Standards Project Manager manages and actively leads Technical Operations specific projects through all phases of the project lifecycle (initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close). Reporting to the Manager, Tech Standards and Continuous Improvement, the Tech Standards Project Manager drives the successful execution of prioritized projects. Essential Responsibilities * Responsible for the successful implementation of assigned project plans, specifically pertaining to the opening or expansion of Tech Ops maintenance stations * Optimize existing business processes in order to improve Technical Operations processes and programs * Identify, analyze, and improve workflows within the Technical Operations organization * Collaborate and interface with product owners, key stakeholders, and others * Identify risks, document mitigation strategies, and implement change management plans * Identify projects core dependencies and critical paths * Provide project status, timelines, resources, and financials for weekly updates and Steering Committees, as required * Schedule and coordinate tasks for deliverables, resources, and projects * Proactively communicate and collaborate with external business partners and internal subject matter experts to produce quality deliverables * Coordinate business case development and submissions and execute * Stay knowledgeable of JetBlue's Safety Management System (SMS), Safety Policy, Security Policy, and behavioral standards * Other duties as assigned Minimum Experience and Qualifications * High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma * Three (3) years of continuous improvement, process engineering, or project management experience * Proficient with Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) * Knowledge of and ability to apply project management techniques, tools, and documents * Sound decision-making ability, analytical reasoning, and organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple projects simultaneously * Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage project communications and stakeholder expectations at all levels of the organization * Possesses highly effective analytical thinking ability to gather, understand, integrate, and synthesize complex information in order to develop solutions, make recommendations, or propose action plans * Financial acumen, moderate return on investment analysis, and ability to structure a business case (or ability to learn said skills quickly) * Possess the ability to quickly adapt to last-minute changes, changing priorities, or project changes * Strong teamwork skills * Strong presentation skills * Available for overnight travel (50%) * Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United States * Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Badge * Must pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test * Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located * Authorization to work in the US is required.
