Qualifications
GENERAL RESPONSERBILITIES
Responsible for welcoming and interacting with all Guests
Responsible for greeting Guests, taking their order, entering order into POS system and verifying order by repeating back to Guest
Suggests additional items as appropriate
Receives and processes payments correctly via room charge or credit/debit
Knowledge of all current drink recipes and specials
Responsible for maintaining work area-restocking and cleaning
Replenishes food and other serving items as necessary
Abides by service speed requirements without compromising beverage quality or customer service, including third-party orders.
Prepares and serves coffee and coffee-less beverages and food items using retail equipment, such as espresso machines and microwaves.
Maintains clean and organized work and customer areas, following health and safety guidelines.
Promotes new coffee offerings and seasonal specials to enhance brand awareness and sales.
Manages daily, weekly, and monthly tasks assigned by the leadership team.
Assists in inventory management and restocks supplies as needed, including product displays.
Always follows Hotel food and Beverage's policies and procedures diligently.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED.
Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
Prior hospitality/server experience (preferred but not required)
Must obtain TABC & Food Handlers Certification prior to beginning work
CERTIFICATIONS
Texas Food Handler Certification (if you don't have-it will be covered by Moody Gardens)
TABC Certification (if you don't have-it will be covered by Moody Gardens)
Human Trafficking Certification (provided by Moody Gardens)
