Essential Functions
Creates compelling and effective design concepts in multiple media types, including but not limited to digital ads, social content, website, print, and outdoor.
Contributes to the team by creating appealing designs within required timelines while also managing project workload in a high-volume work environment.
Develops concepts, graphics, layouts, etc. including making decisions about fonts, images, readability, and reader's needs while adhering to the PCI brand standards. Determines size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.

The Visual Designer creates compelling, on-brand visual materials that support Dillard University's mission, enhance its reputation, and advance strategic marketing and communications initiatives. Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field required.
* Minimum of 3 years of professional design experience, preferably in higher education, marketing, or a creative agency environment.
* Demonstrated experience in photography and photo editing.
Skills and Competencies:
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro or After Effects).
* Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
