    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Under general supervision, the Manufacturing Test Engineer develops test processes, test procedures and test fixtures for a variety of electronic assemblies that are produced at PRIDE Industries’ or at a customer’s location. Employees in this job class apply established procedures and equipment quality standards. This job class requires strong knowledge of digital and analog electronic circuitry, standard test equipment and ATE, programming software and hardware, the ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and assemblies drawings. Knowledge of AutoCAD or similar software and 3D printing experience.

    TYPICAL DUTIES:

    1. * Develops and builds specialized test equipment and bed of nails fixtures. Installs and debugs programming software and test applications.2. *Sets up and operates a variety of standard and specialized test equipment.3. *Performs development and modification of test equipment and test procedures.4. * Assists to test technicians on tests of complex analog and digital printed circuit boards and assemblies.5. * Performs failure analysis to determine root cause of failure and recommends corrective actions.6. * Provides training and support to Manufacturing Test team.7. * Supports NPI test process and assists engineering with prototype bring up.8. * Works with customer’s design and test engineers to transfer new products to manufacturing.9. * Creates bug lists and debug procedures.
