Reece Kurtenbach is the Chief Executive Officer for Daktronics, Inc. and currently serves as chairman of the Board of Directors. Previously, Reece served as Executive Vice President for Live Events and International, and provided corporate oversight for the company’s design and development engineering. The Live Events Business Unit encompasses the sales and service departments for our Large Sports Venues and Rental and Staging markets, as well as the Video Products Engineering development group. The International Business Unit serves our customers outside of North America and is organized into the regional areas of: Asia Pacific, Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA), and Latin America/Caribbean. He graduated from South Dakota State University in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and minors in math and computer science. After graduation, Reece worked for a few years in two other technical companies, and then returned to Daktronics in 1991 to work as an Applications Engineer on large display projects. In 1994, he became manager of a design group, leading the development of Daktronics' first full color LED video display product. Since then, Daktronics has become a leader in the technology of large screen LED video displays, and the acknowledged world leader in sales in this product category.

Mr. Glassman was appointed the Company's Chairman of the Board in 2020 and has served as Chief Executive Officer since 2016. He previously served the Company as President from 2013 to 2019, Chief Operating Officer from 2006 to 2015, Executive Vice President from 2002 until 2013, President - Residential Furnishings from 1999 to 2006, Senior Vice President from 1999 to 2002, and in various other capacities since 1982. Prior to that, she held the position of Vice President of our global structural product solutions subsidiary, Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. and, in that capacity from 2004 to 2009, served as the Branch Manager of the Simpson Strong-Tie manufacturing facility in Stockton, California. She joined Simpson Strong-Tie in 1984 as an engineer in the Research and Development department, where she was responsible for the design and testing of new products and code development. In 1998, she was promoted to Vice President of Engineering and was responsible for the company’s research and development efforts. Before joining Simpson Strong-Tie, she worked as a civil engineer for the Bechtel Corporation, a global engineering, construction, and project management company. Ms. Colonias holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and a Masters of Business Administration degree. She is also a licensed professional engineer.
