JOB DUTIES • Arrive at the scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready for work. • Adhere to Brand/Hotel cleanliness standards in all areas of the Hotel. • Responsible for the set-up and breakdown of all banquet functions as specified in the Banquet Event Order (BEO). Job Description: Banquet Server The Banquet Server is responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet events such as weddings, conferences, corporate meetings, and private parties. This role requires excellent customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team to deliver seamless and professional service during events. Key Responsibilities: Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, glassware, silverware, and buffet or service stations. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner during events. Serve plated meals, buffets, and beverages in a timely and courteous manner. Refill water, clear dishes, and maintain a clean and tidy event space throughout service. Follow specific instructions from the Banquet Captain or Event Manager regarding timing and service style. Monitor guest needs throughout the event and respond promptly. Perform breakdown and clean-up of event space post-service, including removing dishes, linens, trash, and resetting for the next event.
