About the Role - What You'll Do
Shipping & Receiving Associates help ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of raw materials, packaging, supplies, and finished goods within the Elyria facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify inbound materials against purchase orders and SAP entries
Sample incoming raw materials per established procedures
Safely unload tankers, trucks, and trailers
Operate forklifts and other materialâhandling equipment
Place materials in designated storage locations; monitor coldâstorage temperatures and fuel levels
Rotate stock using FIFO; report and repackage damaged items as needed

Picks up and delivers samples and bottle orders as needed
Counts the number of samples when receiving them from clients to make sure that the Chain of Custody and samples match. Verifies that samples are not broken or damaged.
Receives and sign the Chain of Custody.
Ensures that client signs, dates, and records time on the Chain of Custody when releasing samples.
Transports samples on ice from client site to the service center, or from our service center to a sub-contracted laboratory.
Unloads samples and inspect for damage or violated hold times to maintain sample integrity..
Follows directions or use maps to locate client offices/sites as specified in the courier request form..
Records in the courier log book the time that courier arrives to the site and time leaving from the site for all the pick-ups and deliveries.

The Associate Technician will support EssilorLuxottica operations across Rx Manufacturing, Logistics, and other functions.

Shipping & Receiving Associates help ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of raw materials, packaging, supplies, and finished goods within the Elyria facility.

Verify inbound materials against purchase orders and SAP entries

Operate refrigeration systems on trailers, containers, and tankers when required
Complete all shipping paperwork accurately and in compliance with company standards
Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE (including respirators)
Maintain good housekeeping; participate in safety meetings and required training
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or GED
Ability to qualify for a company‑issued forklift license
Ability to lift 55 lbs regularly and up to 110 lbs occasionally
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and perform physical tasks
Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Basic math skills and ability to distinguish color
Fluent in English (reading and writing)
Ability to wear a respirator; must meet fit‑to‑work requirements and pass an employment physical
Experience with SAP or other inventory control systems preferred
Work Environment:
Manufacturing/plant environment with physical activity, material‑handling equipment, noise, chemical exposure, and varying temperatures.

Job DescriptionSalary:
The objective of the Shipping and Receiving position is to ensure that proper material is sent out and received into Stone Products in a timely and efficient manner.
Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities
Checking incoming shipments and ensuring that everything is accurate according to the shipping label
Preparing orders ready to ship out to customer or vendors
Putting Superior Rollers, Heads and/or pulleys away daily
Keeping the shop area clean (sweeping floors, taking out the trash in the Roller Building and Parts Department)
Complete daily shipping logs before leaving for the day
Picking sales orders, pulling and staging orders for orders
Loading and unloading freight trucks
Putting away all parts
Documenting parts and organizing shop
Submitting inventory to operations in building
Delivery of all parts being worked on in the shop
Put away equipment at the end of day
Tag sales orders with job number
Cleaning sidewalks and walkways during bad weather
Other tasks as assigned
