GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Wyoming State Parks is seeking seasonal interpretive rangers for the summer of 2026. Interpretive rangers are our front-line staff who engage and enlighten visitors about a site's natural and cultural resources. The employment season is from May 15th to September 15th, working 40 hours per week. The rate of pay is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour. Some seasonal positions may begin earlier in the year and extend longer into the fall. Please refer to the Essential Functions for more detailed information about job duties. Some sites have optional no-cost housing that will be provided in a recreational vehicle or dormitory. These positions are stationed at one site but work on programs throughout the district. The proposed housing locations, though subject to change within each district, are: Absaroka District in Northeast WY: Stationed at Keyhole State Park near Moorcroft.
