Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Create a range of activities and experiences that engage students and facilitate the development of their cognitive, social, and emotional skills Design lessons, assignments, and assessments that align with the Missouri Learning Standards Differentiate instruction and independent work to support the needs of each unique student Use formative and summative data to inform planning and instruction Establish a safe and nurturing learning environment Set appropriate expectations and effectively manage the classroom Clearly communicate individual student progress to families, classroom teachers, and the school principal Participate in ongoing professional development as well as work individually and/or collaboratively to stay abreast of best practices in elementary education Complete all job-related responsibilities in a timely and professional manner Requirements: Bachelors degree (Masters degree preferred) Valid Missouri Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education Preferred skills and characteristics Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Self-confident and resilient Consistent and reliable Data-driven and results-oriented Please include the following with your application: 1.
