PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT
The successful new hire or rehired candidate will be responsible to complete and incur the fingerprinting and processing fee of $54.50 through an appropriate fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
SUMMARY: Perform a full range of educational/non-educational duties for the specific intensive needs of primarily one student.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Provide instructional and behavioral support in all academic and related areas as directed by the teacher primarily for an individual student.
Provide support to special education teacher such as preparing materials, assist in the implementation of IEP (Individualized Education Plan), provide input into the IEP when appropriate, deliver instructional materials for individual students, keep attendance and activity records, collect data for progress monitoring, and implement behavior intervention plans.
Administer all medications, within the guidelines of District Policy JLCD to students and document appropriately as identified in District policy. District Area Nurse will delegate medication administration to Para-Educator. Para-Educator will follow medication administration protocols and guidelines under the Department of Health Services and will be monitored, documented, and audited by the District Area Nurse.
Perform assigned lunch/recess/bus duties which include supervision in the cafeteria, playground and pre/post boarding of buses.
Perform health and personal need duties as directed by teacher or nurse, including bathroom assistance, diapering, feeding and lifting students.
Apply de-escalation strategies and manage classroom behavior.
Perform restraints, if required or applicable, after attending district approved trainings.
Participate in required Medicaid and Random Moment in Time Study provider trainings. Document personal care and/or delegated nursing services on a regular basis in EZEDMed system for Medicaid reimbursement purposes.
Maintain confidential information as directed.
Provide support for any student as directed.
Attend district-provided trainings and professional development as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

This is a seasonal, full-time position with a short, fixed employment period. POSITION SUMMARY:
The responsibility of this position is to provide a strong foundation of learning while promoting curiosity and passion for learning. The expectation for the position is to provide effective standards-based, data driven instruction to ensure student success and promote an exemplary educational program which fosters achievement for all students. Teach social/emotional and other formative skills. This position requires a strong team member who engages thoughtfully with data-driven collaborative conversations as part of a professional learning community. Encourage parent/guardian involvement in student learning through open houses, volunteering, parent/teacher conferences, etc. Develop and promote good community relations among stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with colleagues from other grades or subject areas to integrate and link disciplines, influencing school-wide curriculum and teaching practices.
Demonstrate mastery of content and ensure curriculum is rigorous, relevant, and applicable to all students.
Deliver content that aligns with real-world applications and is relevant to students' experiences.
Integrate and align Colorado Academic Standards, instructional objectives, strategies, learning activities, materials, and assessments to meet individual student needs.
Use data management tools to analyze student results and identify strengths and areas for improvement.
Feedback & Communication:

Salary placement ranges from $53,464 to $103,027 and is determined based on education, years of experience, and the Negotiated Agreement. The most current Licensed Salary Schedule is posted on the Englewood Schools Career webpage. Englewood Schools accepts up to 19 years of verified experience.

Responsibilities:
* Planning and Preparation: Facilitates learning experiences and teaches the course of study as outlined by the District approved curriculum; utilizes innovative and differentiated instructional strategies to meet individual needs and motivate students; and plans and develops an engaging, age-appropriate course of study in the classroom using the approved District instructional model and adhering to state and school district curriculum guidelines.
* Assessment: Utilize a Data Driven Instruction and Inquiry (DDI) model to systematically improve student learning; assess student proficiency using formal and informal assessment tools; differentiate assessments based on individual needs; provide timely feedback and targeted interventions; plan and consistently deliver instruction that draws on results of student assessments; anticipate student misconceptions and plan lessons accordingly; report grades.
* Learning Environment: create and foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment in which all students see themselves represented in the classroom and understand the behavioral expectations; implements procedures and routines that maximize student learning; respond to student misconduct in a respectful manner using restorative practices; actively seek a variety of perspectives; demonstrate mutual respect for peers and adults in a variety of contexts; and communicate and involve parent/guardians in all aspects of their child's education.

Qualifications:
Required:
* Currently hold a Colorado teaching license and/or a Colorado principal license.
* Completed and submitted BVSD on-line application
Preferred:
* Principal License and/or currently enrolled in a Principal Licensing program
* First Aid/CPR Certificate
* CLD or CLD Bilingual Endorsement
* Bilingual Spanish/English
* Previous experience as teacher leader and/or building administrator

As an RMA employee, you would be working with a close team to support the growth and education of children 2.5 years of age through Elementary.
The Teacher supports the Summer Camp Coordinator and the Directors by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. They must be able to communicate, listen, and work well with others in a team environment. Assisting the staff in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents, the Teacher observes and documents children's interests and progress, and relays that information back to parents and staff. Teachers are responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities based on children's interests and needs under the direction of the Montessori Teacher, After School and Camps Coordinator, and the Directors.

Follow all center policies and state regulations.
Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
The candidate will have:

Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
An understanding of child development.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification - or willing to get within 3 months.
Desire to continue education beyond current accolades.
Must clear full background check and must pass a health screening.
Highly desired: Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience.
