Training: Superintendents are responsible for ensuring proper training and guidance are provided for the Foremen and equipment operators, ensuring they are frequently updated and held to standards and requirements. Personnel Management : Superintendents are responsible for assigning, directing, and delegating responsibilities to Foremen and equipment operators, and ensuring they are meeting standards. Construction Site Inspections: Frequently inspect project sites in various capacities; pre-bid, pre-construction, and throughout the duration of construction; provide recommendations and status updates as requested. Travel : Must be willing and able to travel for extended periods throughout the USA. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Leadership : Ability to motivate and direct diverse teams effectively. Technical Knowledge : In-depth understanding of construction processes, plans, and relevant materials used for soil modification and stabilization. Communication : Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to listen actively. Problem-Solving : Excellent decision-making and analytical skills to address complex issues. Organization : Skills in planning, delegation, time management, and multitasking to handle various demands. Regulatory Knowledge : Understanding of local, state, and federal construction regulations and compliance standards. Software Proficiency : Familiarity with scheduling and project management software (Bid2Win), equipment tracking and maintenance software (Motive and OneView), and MS Word and Excel. Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum 15 years of ground construction experience Minimum 10 years of experience working on soil stabilization projects (or recommended by Rock Solid Management) Favorable work history Class A CDL, a plus Physical Requirements: Regularly required to sit, walk, climb ladders, and occasionally lift (up to 50 pounds).
